Hey guys. :) I've been a lurker for a while, and I'd like to offer my system administration and/or MySQL skills to those in need. :)

I've been in the adult business for about 5 years taking care of about 200 servers in 5 datacenters remotely, and can set up servers, recompile kernels, set up automatic backups, do restores in case of disasters, set up services (including HTTP, FTP, SNMP/POP3/IMAP, SNMP, and pretty much anything else you have).

I'm familiar with all UNIX-type operating systems, including FreeBSD, Linux (RedHat, SuSE, CentOS, Debian, and others), Darwin (Mac OS), and others. I'm familiar with Windows servers also, and can set up Windows-specific servers, including Flash Media Server (used to be Flash Communication Server), IIS (Microsoft Webserver), etc.

If you need MySQL experience, I've got tons of it. I've set up tons of MySQL servers, and can tweak the servers for maximum performance as well as optimize SQL queries. I've got development experience (lots of PHP and C, as well as C++), so I can talk to your developers about stuff, and know what they're talking about.

Also, if you're looking into highly-available MySQL clusters (clusters are good not only for speed, but for redundancy, so that if one machine fails, another takes its place), I can set that up also. I'm also familiar with what it takes to move over from a single MySQL server to a MySQL cluster, and can advise accordingly.

I can write recommendations about hardware, as well as advise you on technical matters. If you need someone to liason with datacenter guys, I'm the man. I've worked in support for years also, and have a ton of background to draw on.

If you have a ton of servers, but don't even know which ones are running unless someone tells you that a site is down, no worries! I can set up a monitoring system that will inform you when a service (FTP, HTTP, etc) is down, or whether it's a network problem at the datacenter.

I'll take contract work, but I'm really looking for a full-time position, if possible. :)

I live in London, Ontario, Canada, but I can telecommute, and if you're in Toronto (or within reasonable driving distance), I'll be more than happy to drive there and meet you so that we can talk. I'm not really into relocating, as I just bought a house with my wife a couple of years ago, so... I do some video editing work for TushyCash, and have done design work for some of the biggest names in the business. I previously worked for LotzaDollars for over a year and a half, until I hit up with Tushycash.
With over 12 years experience designing and also worked for 2 major message boards. You won't find anyone more experienced than me. I do all the major niches as well and know how to convert anything.

Right now, I have 2 weeks before I move and nothing to do to keep me occupied. My wife has most everything packed and even my fishing pole, so I can't even go fishing.

Excellent PHP/mySQL developer, and have been doing this type of work for basically my entire adult life. Very high quality, reliable, honest, trustworthy, and all that good stuff. Started and managed a successful online software company back in Nov 2000, sold it in Oct 2005, and just getting my feet wet with my second company.

I'm not the cheapest developer out there, but there is a reason for that, and hopefully some of you guys will give me a chance to prove it. :) I always put clients need in front of my own, because as common sense dictates, the more successful my clients are, the more successful I am.

Not looking to be an employee, but would love some long-term relationships with guys in this industry. Sorry, but I don't really take on small projects such as Joomla templates, etc. There's thousands of people out there willing to work for $15/hour who can do just as good of a job.

I'm more specialized with actual online systems (think NATS). Account management, transactions, billing, client / model / content / TPG management, affiliates, commissions, etc. I've helped setup hundreds if not thousands of online operations in various industries and levels over the years, and can basically do whatever your imagination can come up with. ;)

i have my own network of blogs and maintain 3 blogs that i wish i owned :). Also, I'm in charge of 2 affiliate programs and i do members area updates on several of the actual paysites within the programs.
