I agree its certainly pre arranged but some of the moves have got to be real. i mean its going to hurt getting thrown/jumping of the top of one of the cage things no matter which way you look at it. I think the main thing is that they know whats coming so they can PREPARE themselves for the impact. He knows he is going to go thru a table or hit with a chair so he can brace himself for it and put himself in a position so he won't be hurt.

Maybe if your using slang or bad grammar but fake is fake and forgery is forgery...

Your painting although a forgery is still a real painting you can touch it feel it look at it and in some cases (if you made it so) it would even be able to give off sents that you'd be able to smell

Plenty of times I would arrive a few minutes early to pick them up and find several of them in the ring on the day before the matches, rehearsing their moves.

However, staged and acted out as it may be, they still take a pounding nonetheless. To dismiss wrestling as "fake" and leave it at that is a mistake. If you guys had any cluse as to the amount of pain medications these guys take after their matches you'd shit yourselves, every one of you.

Very Well put, I Agree 100%, and have had simillar experiences as I used to live in a tropical island which where i had a wrester as a next door neighbor and can assure your statement to be 100% accurate

It's not enormously difficult to put down any form of "sport" if that is your intention, but I don't see a problem with some being entertaining on one level and some on another. I think that if I had an issue with the terminology of professional wrestling, it would not be about whether the action is staged, but whether pro wrestling should be called a sport.

"Sport: an active diversion requiring physical exertion and competition". Well certainly wrestling involves a lot of physical exertion, but then so does ballet. And it's not competitive in the usual sense, because the winners and losers are determined in advance, more on the basis of marketability than skill.

Regardless of all that, millions find it entertaining and I haven't seen any evidence that those who do are any lower on the evolutionary ladder than those who enjoy watching a pigskin being thrown around, or little white balls being popped into holes in the ground.
