"Paris Hilton is currently being checked into Twin Towers Correctional Facility, the same place where she checked herself into custody on Sunday night after the MTV Movie awards, this according to several media outlets"

"Paris Hilton will probably spend the weekend in a medical ward at the jail facility where she surrendered Sunday night, referred to as Twin Towers.
We're told the plans will firm up within an hour. Hilton will stay there over the weekend, when her lawyer will file an appeal, called a writ of habeas corpus, which means, essentially, the body is being held illegally." they just don't want to accept it. |

the girl should never have been tossed in jail for the minor violation, just because the judge took it upon himself to give her a lesson. he has some major issues.. it wount be long before he is tossed as judge. if she as much as breaks a nail while in their custody the LAPD is going to get a lawsuit on their hands. i feel sorry for her and i have never been a supporter of her and her stupid shows. and i find it odd that peeps on gfy find so much pleasure in seeing other people suffer, perhaps it is because most gfy'ers are not successful so they hate those who are... the guvernator is going to get her out of jail, watch my words. |

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the sentiments about this whole Paris debacle are similar all around the web, not just GFY. And how the fuck is Paris Hilton successful? She's a lucky offspring of someone who once was successful, what exactly has she ever accomplished on her own? |
to pretend paris has not had success is just turning a blind eye to the truth. She has done well in movies, music to some extent, plus she only set out to be famous really so could anyone argue that she hasn't succeeded?
I remember watching one of those police pursuit shows and this one chick fled in her car and for miles put many people at risk with her drunk driving and during the pursuit the announcer stated that the woman had been convicted of DUI 17 times already. And this bitch was on the streets. So I do think that the judge did go a little overboard giving her the sentence. Naomi Cambell only got probation and community service for an actual assualt after all. That said, once the sentence was given, Paris should have just served her 20 something days without issue. I actually blame society for this. We want people to achieve a certain status but no more and when they do go over our pre determined threshold of fame we are almost brought to orgasm when they fail in any way. If Paris was some unknown I doubt she would have spent an hour in prison over this. |

oh and I forgot perhaps Paris' biggest success.. the tv series The Simple Life.
Not to mention that she gets 200K dollar cars just for showing up to club openings. How is that not success? |

I don't agree with her being released but she is getting what she deserved... she broke the law and now she has to pay! Celebs have got to start realizing that just because you are famous you can't get away from the law! |
That's sad..I hope that doesn't happen to me anytime soon..
|
She deserves to be in jail but she doesn't deserve to get fucked with in regards to in and out of jail. Neiter is right.
|
Well, maybe this will keep some dumb teenage girls from drinking and driving... That would be the only useful thing Paris Hilton has ever done.
|
Ha ha the skank whore got what she deserved

who cares....
