I just used one of my spare computers, downloaded mame32 and found a guy that sent me 6 DVDs full of roms. You dont need a high powered computer for this. |
I got my control panel from here
http://www.slikstik.com/index.htm Looks like now you can order the cabinet pre-built as well. I downloaded plans and built mine in the garage 3 years ago. Took me three months, I was literaly standing with a cane in one hand and cutting with a jigsaw in the other hand. Was just recovering from a motorcycle accident, hadnt been able to walk for 4 months and it was driving me nuts not having anything to do. |

It's not terribly old school. But almost all the classics have been listed already.
Mutant League Football (genesis) is probably my all time favorite. NBA JAM (Super NES) is a pretty dope at an arcade. |

"Paperboy."
And "Zombies Ate My Neighbors" and "Boogerman" on Sega Genesis. (I'm young.) Did anyone else play these games? I've been playing them on an emulator for a while and it brings back such fond memories... |
Michael Jackson's Moonwalker... j/k lmao. Joust/Kangaroo/Galaga/Dig Dug... can't really have one favorite classic game.
|
Theres only one game that comes to my mind. Oregon Trail! :D
|
Football Manager on the Commodore 64. Text soccer management game. You start in Division 4 and work your way up to Division 1 and FA Cup glory. Haha. I wasted so much of my time on that game up until the age of about 10.
|
PacMan and tetris are classics. All time favorite was Shinobi on the original sega.

Duck hunt was always amazing
