i have one and i love it! my favorite to grill on it are skinless chicken breasts.. m mmm :)

I used mine for a while (larger one) but about a year ago went to using a Calphalon anodized grill pan on my stove top.
When I need to grill for more than must one or two people, I use my outdoor gas grill (plumbed straight to my home natural gas line). Been looking into an infrared outdoor grill, lately. Oh.. best way to clean a Foreman. When you're done cooking and while it's still pretty hot, wet two or three layers of paper towel and put it on the grill surface then close the lid. Let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes (still warm), then open it, remove the paper towels and wipe the surfaces down with a few clean damp ones. PK |
I have one but i havent used it in years
|
got it for xmas year before last, still in the box :upsidedow

i have an off brand one and its a decent size, i bought the off brand one because the metal pieces are removable so you can put them in the dishwasher. makes it way easier to clean.

I didn't like mine. I love my Weber Q grill. An infrared does sound pretty nice. I'd like to try a steak from that.

We have one of those here. The easy way to clean the grill is to wash it like you would wash anything else. In the sink with soap and hot water. Then, flip it over and let the water drain out and it can air dry. We let ours dry over night. Never had a problem with it that way. Cleans up pretty quick and it pretty easy.

We got one as a gift, but we got rid of it before we moved.
My wife didn't like the fact that it came without a drip pan. |
I have the double grill. I love it.
It's fabulous for making a quick dinner. I can buy some chicken breasts or steaks, throw them in some marinade for a bit and when I'm ready to make dinner, it's bing bang boom and dinners done in less then 30 min. btw.. those of you who hate to clean your grill, try this.. When you're done using it and take the food off it, get enough paper towels to have 2 layer coverage, one side of my grill takes 3 regular size paper towels. I fold it in half, run it under the water to get it wet, squeeze out the excess water and then I slap it on the grill. When we are done eating, I wipe it down with paper towels and it's clean. I never have any trouble keeping my grill clean using that method. |
Oh, I should say.. turn the grill off before you put on the paper towels. Don't want anyone misunderstanding that part. :winkwink:
