codec trojan guys are stealing everyones sales every day.
torrent sites are taking potential customers and giving them a never ending supply of porn
so called adware programs hijacking my sales via pops and affiliate code hijacking.
ect.ect.

When big companies such as sexsearch need to use such methods to make a profit, what hope is there for the average webmaster? They say if you can't beat em, join em but if you do that it will just become a clusterfuck of everyone trying to hijack from everyone else.

I'm not aware of any "leaders of the industry". All I see are companies who just happen to be making money now. 7 years ago it was a whole group of different people who thought they were the "leaders of the industry". And in a couple of years there will be different ones.

I have been so busy over the last 3 years that I just stopped coming here for the most part. But now that I've been reading this board over the last couple of months, I'm pretty shocked.

This place used to be a spot to discuss ideas and business with others. Now it's a bunch of surfers laughing at the people in the porn biz and trolling them.

Lars isn't a "leader". Neither is lensman or anybody else on here. At least, they're not my leader. I'm making more money than ever. This shit ain't brain surgery. It just requires 10 to 14 hours a day of WORK.

I do everything the same way I did it back in '98. By hand. With my own eyes. And with no fancy scripts.

Yeah, I hate getting ripped off. I hate the torrent sites. So what? I've learned that people can steal THINGS from you. But they can't steal my desire to excel and my ideas. I'm always coming up with something that makes money...and that's what everyone should be doing.

I don't have a "leader" and no one speaks for me. I feel that if everyone realized that you would all be a lot better off. Just outwork everybody else.

The torrent shit and the zango shit is gonna go the same way that guys putting dialers on shit in foreign countries went a few years ago. It's all the same concept of making a quick buck. It sparks up, burns bright, then dies. What's left are honest, hard working, creative webmasters.

No offense, but you're responsible for yourself. Sink or swim.

EDIT: And the fact that you have to post this with a fake nick is directly related to your weakness.

When it use to be "screw the stupid affiliates" it was pretty calm around here. Most companies didn't have the balls and blatant disregard for their "bros" to be ripping them off as well.

That all changed somewhere around Zango time. A few companies have shown that they are more than willing to steal from the affiliates, from their friends, and from their competitors without a blink.

Like it or not, the T&C of all programs is bidirectional. I very much predict that one or more programs will find themselves on the end of a lawsuit or class action before too long. The "bros" aren't all happy with each other anymore... it only takes one to break ranks and all hell breaks loose.

Also, because of the size of the industry these days its much easier to be a anonymous shit sack, unlike in the old days when we knew most people more personally.

I agree there, most never made any money to begin with, and most probably never will. Those kind usually ween themselves out when they have to get a 'real' job, but they are always replaced
