I'd rather we had Phil Hartman back. :(

The first movie DID suck ...

I bought seasons 1 through 9 all at $100 plus a pop back when they came out, season by season ... You can buy them brand new for $40 a piece now - bastards.

I'm a huge X-Files fan, I hope the movie is good this time around, and Californication gets a huge :thumbsup - Seriously watch it if you haven't. The scene where he is getting the shit beat out of him by the girl riding him made me fall off my fucking couch laughing. Then when he finds out she is 16 later, priceless... haha

Couple other funny scenes

* He is fucking some chick in his ex's house and she gets sick, he gets sick.. He ends up with puke all over some painting that was hanging on their wall and uses it to cover himself up when they walk in showing off the house to friends...

* His comments about lack of pubic hair on women today

* Making fun of how the guy eats pussy telling him where the little man in the boat is (the clit) and ripping on him for eating ass (but 'ey I eat ass - womens only of course)

The X-Files was a ' musn't watch it because you cannot sleep" series, when I was a lil child :)

I've been re-watching them all... almost finished season three. It's amazing how well they've held up.

I hear the movie isn't going to involve the ongoing story at all... more like one of the 'monster of the week' type stories.

Was never really a fan on the X-Files. Or Gillian Anderson...

A new film reviving the cult 1990s TV series The X-Files is moving closer to being made, according to reports.

David Duchovny, one of the show's stars, has told reporters he will receive a script next week.

Duchovny and co-star Gillian Anderson are both "on board" to reprise their roles as alien-hunting special agents Mulder and Scully, he said.

The script has been written by creator Chris Carter and writer Frank Spotnitz, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The pair co-wrote the first X-Files movie, which came out almost a decade ago. The original thriller series was a hit when it ran from 1993-2002, winning three Golden Globes for best TV drama.

Duchovny was speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour, promoting his new comedy Californication, in which he plays a novelist struggling with a complicated private life.

Californication is in the top 3 of my fave comedies.
