Biggest mistake one can make, after the initial fuckup of course.

Better to man up and face it, and make things right.

maybe they are not man enough to admit to it.

maybe they are worried if they do admit wrong doing if by some chance there was a lawsuit that certaintly wouldn't look help their case.

maybe the are under the belief that if they ignore the thread it will go away and in 2 weeks everyone will forget about it.

Most likely the last one but it could be a combination of the 3. :2 cents:

No one got scammed. Someone got dicked over by a douchebag and his cunty wife. They said they were going to ruin him and it backfired on them a little bit. Good reading comprehension skills you've got there though, you do prove an important point though. Mark and Sarah did plenty of damage to this company while making themselves the laughing stock of GFY.

Actual URL: http://onlyteenfiles.com/tf/abril/01
Cached URL: http://64.213.200.107/cgi-bin/docach...S3NDa xNDIHAA

If you look at the links to the sponsors from these two links, you'll see the second link goes to: http://www.topadult10.com/search.php?aid=71655&q=Teens

The actual page (now) goes to: http://www.teenstarsmagazine.com/proc/?

My guess is that this content was probably ripped from TeenStarsMagazine and was being linked to the PPC search engine. Whoever ripped the site used the stolen CC, made his quick cash with the PPC search engine and when it became apparent the CC was stolen he switched it out to the actual paysite he ripped it from. This is likely why the affiliate program owner had no spike in traffic or sales, the traffic in reality went to the PPC search engine.

I think you should be contacting whoever owns topadult10.com and pass on that affiliate ID and trace who owns that account, that's likely the culprit. It seems that TeenStarsMagazine isn't actually the one who did this.

Hope this helps...
WG

My god, great find!

You'll also notice if you go to the root page of the server (http://www.onlyteenfiles.com/), the same affiliate code is being used:

http://www.lookuplive.com/search.php?aid=71655&q=porno

Seems this guy is ripping sites off and linking his traffic to pay per click search engines. Trace that affiliate ID (71655) to the ppc vendor and I'll bet you'll have the thief.

So that DH bitch and his maffia wife are still hiding somewhere?

Come one assholes it's monday now, it's time for a reply on this case.

Brujah 07-23-2007 12:41 AM

The worst part of this, is this poor "Mark Hartley" guy who had his identity stolen has this huge drama thread on a larger porn board and GFY's brilliant "no proof = banned" moderators still haven't removed it.

Turboface 07-23-2007 12:42 AM

This thread just will not die!

Made me curious btw...How can you charge a stolen card for 16K without problems? I mean, most cards are limited no? And they need visa/mastercard approval?

Dirty F 07-23-2007 01:58 AM

Mods, what happened to the no proof - banned rule? Ive seen people banned for accusation way smaller than this.
Mark, the fucking imbecile he is, still didnt take his words back. He should be banned 2 days ago already.

DaLord 07-23-2007 02:55 AM

tmc_producer,

You're getting excellent promotion, if you can call it that. When you find yourself thinking "well these fake accusations really suck" it might warm your business-heart to know that a LOT of webmasters now are waiting for whatever you're coming up with. I know I am :)

Yes it's the old any publicity is good publicity even bad publicity.

HairToStay 07-23-2007 03:20 AM

So this proves that providing GTS with the front and back of a credit card (which they claim to have received) won't cover their ass anyway in case of fraud.

I'm not sure how their credit card processor works, but if I have a large charge, Risk Management will contact me to ask if it was previous customer, ask for proof that it was a previous customer and contact the customer to be sure the charge is authorized.

A copy of the front and back of the credit card is not sufficient proof the charge is legitimate according to my processor and there are some card association rules about disposing of the information, just like how you can't keep a copy of the CVV code in your files.

GTs should have phone verified, any large order over 1000$ with any web host they phone verify, or at least call the bank belonging to the card, then this wouldnt have happened.

I know a few places I have placed some orders in the past week, for a small amount the charge goes through, But i had to call the 800# give them invoice, etc, and they call back to verify from the phone # listed on the card, smart thinking.

Thats not the funny part. The funny part is the scammer used a gmail account and GTS STILL let him charge 15k.

gmail account+charging 15k = somethings wrong.

DH Apology: http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=753751

We rarely have fraud of this significance and we really should have done more due diligence before making accusations about your program being involved. At the time with the information we had on hand, everything pointed to the program owner. In reality it appears that the program owner was innocent of the fraud and some webmaster painted his program as being the culprit.

I'd like to thank Wiredguy and cabezacaca for the leads they have given us to help us catch the fraudster. We intend to continue our investigation on this individual. In lieu of this fraud, we will be tightening up all our credit card processing procedures and do much more strenuous screening on new clients. We would also encourage teen mega cash to do their own investigating as obviously this fraudster has targetted your program.

I'd like to offer any affiliates who wish to promote Teen Mega Cash, any advertising we have at GTS, Submitpasses, Buyblogtraffic, Console Broker at cost. Devin our GM will be in touch with the owner of TMC, we fully intend to make good in light of this situation.

I am a man of my word, I said in the other thread I would apologize if I was in the wrong and I am in the wrong...

DH

Today's word is: Contrition

Not strange at all. Typical of this shitstain.

facialfreak 07-23-2007 09:27 AM

calling the post linked above "contrition" is what I meant was strange ...

There was no apology that I could find in that post. It was a mere summation (linked for ADG Webdude's benefit) of events, with a clever marketing ploy added for good measure.

Actions like this in the real (brick and mortar) business world get people kissing the carpet in their car trunks ... but its good to see that a bit of free traffic and a few drinks @ Internext will solve any online disagreement ...

Webmasters are such a friendly bunch! :Oh crap

candyflip 07-23-2007 10:28 AM

This thread shouldn't fall off the first page.

Phone verifying these days doesn't do much. Any scammer can go signup for a VoIP line at skype or wherever. Scanning the back and front of the card just deters the lazy scammers, its pretty simple to photoshop an image.

The best way of protecting against fraud when dealing with very high risk transactions is to pull an LX report and ask them one of many random questions..."eg, what was the name of your youngest sister's husband...what street did you grow up on" and so on.
