Its not really Mark's fault, the webmaster switched the codes. When he looked at it, he followed the link to see who was benefitting from the traffic just like everone else did. The webmaster who did the link switching tried diverting attention to the TeenMagazine site and he probably would have gotten away with it if Alexa didn't cache the site.

I'd stick with taking high road on this, either legal or otherwise. IMHO putting up childish stuff like that will only make you look like an ass, and they (GTS) would probably take legal action, just to be "right". Just ride the waves and wait for an apology, or some other beneficial arrangement.

he def went about it way too quick but his assumption was based on the FACTS he had at the time , FACT was the traffic was going there so he assumed they bought it..

now we know a bit more of the story the facts have changed so it was premature to suspect a no ref code link meant the program was at fault.

once again the moral of the story is do as much fact checking as you can before you fly off the handle.
