Fact is Ram's initial post insensed you. Why? Because you in particular fit into one of the categories he mentioned. It hit home. You came in here and the only argument you could offer up was this lame "Your a hypocrite d00d".

I'll tell you what rules. For one, just the fact that you've been banned tells me you broke at least one rule here. However, and here's the tricky part so pay close attention now....

See... when you get banned, by it's very nature it means that the owners A) don't want you here, and B) don't want you to come back. Couple that with the well-known rule about fake anon nicks being at the very least frowned upon and, well my anon friend, you've broke at least what, 879 rules? :D

I realize the idea of being able to cock off at people anonymously is irresistibly appealing to so many of you, but you do seem to have some intelligence about you so I'll ask -- don't you think it would be the person of more character who simply uses their real name or known nickname up front before taking a piss at someone?

The fact is I still have business to conduct whether GFY wants me or not, and i would be happy to post my original nick if I wouldn't just get banned again. I don't have time to make 100 new nicks just to prove a point so I just go about my business.

I responded to his thread not because it hit home, but because I can't stand hypocrites. He is saying out one side of his mouth he hates the drama, and out the other side he is instigating it. If I were the admins of GFY I would have a secret forum for Posters over 20K posts. Face it by 20K posts you most likely have some sort of stake in the biz.

Or maybe they oughtah put a optional post so that as an option for 20K posters they may click an option for 20K posters only to read within a thread.
Thus there opinion amoung peer's can be seen without the trolls freaking the fuck out.
Or even 20K posters can post things only 20K readers can view as an option.
Like a public post and a private post.

This would revolutionise boards and allow people that are experienced to communicate without excess chatter.

Another fact about fake nics is simple, only riff raff, thieves and pussy's use them, and are most likely people that have got alot to hide or drive false promotions that are both non rewarding business wise and in some cases costly for those that fall for veritable schemes.

I was actually going to start a similar thread about this very thing, because the anon trolls and multi-nick-having sludge and those that simply dog and stalk people and continually come with the mindless schoolyard level bashing are beginning to again run rampant here. Is it really so surprising that some are obviously getting sick of it and want to talk about it?

No it's not, but a lot of it is coming from those that are "supposedly" respected members on here that also start threads about the board going down hill, all the while contributing to it under fake nicks.

I can't disagree with you on that point. That is yet another issue that needs addressing "TD style"... but quite possibly never will.


Edit: I can't say for certain, but I've only known Ram to post as himself. I CAN say with 100% honesty that I myself have never once reg'd a fake nick or otherwise employed one to flame someone etc.
