The stress of being responsible for something that big and expensive makes my mind swim! Hats off to the pilot :)

My grandfather flew b-17s in WWII on bombing missions throughout Germany. I was going to follow in his foot steps and become a pilot(in the airforce/navy), but Im not the type of guy who takes orders very well.

Such a beautiful piece of art work that plane is, but the b-52 s.f. is by far my favorite long range bomber, look at that pay load ^^, absolutely incredible.

I believe that is the B-17 that belongs to the "Confederate airforce"
A group dedicated to the preservation of WW2 aircraft.
If its the same one I took my sun through it (on the ground) last year in Ottawa:thumbsup

Prop planes are insanely sexy. It's so sad so few made it back.

That very same plane was at my local airport a few weeks ago. It was on a tour of Europe to honour the war veterans.

Greg Norman's Gulfstream is currently parked up in the same spot it used :)

There was an airshow in N/W IN last weekend, you could fly on one for $300 or so.

I was tempted to fly back out there just to do that.

Do they put grab handles on the outside of the fuselage? How do you hold on tight enough for that long?

Nice planes.
