I know this is the way to go, unfortunately it does not always work. As is the case with me right now.

I bought a house in another city and we were supposed to move here as a family (g/f, son and me). About 10 days before, she told me she was going to stay in my old house. Now i am here, don't know anybody and have my son 3/4 days a week. Other days i am just working and trying to do my thing.

At age 35 you don't have too many friends who hang around in bars every day, most are settled down. She's 25 and having all the fun in the world with guys and dolls, biatch :p

* Do not call her, write emails, letters, instant messages, text messages, etc.
* If she calls you or writes you in anyway, do not answer or reply.
* If you run into each other at the same place, leave if possible, or stay at the opposite end of wherever she is.
* Avoid her. There will be someone else in your love life who will make her seem like a stepping stone.
* No matter how much you may want to be friends, you have to make her or yourself the enemy. This may or may not be temporary, but it's necessary for this time being.
