Right on man ! I wanted to point that out at first, but then decided that adult webmasters are too ignorant to read CC, they'd rather enjoy a pair of tits.

I've read all the 13 books of CC. :thumbsup

Yes.

Have read it too.

I listen to Art Bell often, and the writer and scientist who is doing all the research on the Mothman called in about 2 years ago, (cant recall his name) it has been years...before the movie and I listen to him talk of his research.

We were following the Mothman Proph before the movie came out.

Loved the film though, but does the guy and his research no justice as all Hollywood does to good plots and scripts.

;)

Just watched the movie...damn that's some crazy movie, I'd recommend it if you haven't seen it..

Now I have a headache, which is weird cause I hardly ever get headaches, might have been from that movie heh....

John Keel. It was more than just a call-in, Art interviewed him at least once as the main guest. It was very interesting stuff.

I miss Art, he gave me thousands of hours of listening enjoyment. He's the best that ever was.

it dont look like much, but let it flap against your bareback in the middle of the night in a darkened room.

i looked em up and actually found out these are very common here.

if you look at my site http://www.overmindesign.com that picture was taken a few days before this Moth thing happened. Figuring the fire pushed these fuckers down from the hills. These are what 'Tomato Worms' turn into.

they are big green worms that live in gardens, they turn into 6 inch wingspan moths man.

i never saw no moth this big until i moved here.

Knowledge

The sorcerers of the Yaqui Indians of Mexico refer to the moth as a symbol of knowledge. In the book Tales of Power by Carlos Castaneda, the moth is such a central figure it is included as the major character on the cover of the book. It is revealed by Don Juan, a Yaqui sorcerer, "knowledge is a moth." He expresses metaphorically that "the moths are the heralds, or better yet, the guardians of eternity," for some reason, or for no reason at all, they are the depositories of the gold dust of eternity. He continues, "the moths carry a dust on their wings, a dark gold dust. That dust is the dust of knowledge." "Knowledge comes floating like specks of gold dust, the same dust that covers the wings of moths." "The moths have been the intimate friends and helpers of sorcerers from time immemorial." Don Juan adds, "Moths are the givers of knowledge and the friends and helpers of sorcerers."

The association of the moth with knowledge coincides with the Blackfoot Indian belief that the butterfly "is a little fellow flying about that is going to bring news to someone tonight." In addition, the Yaqui associates some danger with the moth and its knowledge. The Navaho Indian also feels that "moths and butterflies, especially moths, are very dangerous." The Yaqui feels the powder on a moth's wings is knowledge. The Navaho associates the powder on lepidopteron wings with insanity, the drive to commit incest and the power of an aphrodisiac and the power to run fast. The old adage "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing" is quite applicable here.

I have a documentary called "the secret life of cats" - they did a study of bird and mouse hunting cats, and the most successful one of them all was crazy.. It was an older Tom that brought in 5 or 6 dead animals a day.

It had a bell, and the study showed that only the first few days did it affect their hunting at all.

Great documentary.

What's freaky is that you did the exact same thing I did....watched same movie, searched for thread, and posted in it. Must be a conspiracy :Graucho
