qwest is a fine network, but it has nothing to do with sprint/uu.

And, I would say qwest is approximately comparable to verio, not drastically better or worse.

LikeWhoa is a serious company, they host big players, and they will not let this kill their bussiness. I believe this will not happen in the future, they can't risk this anymore. I believe after this they will have a serious backup provider, so it's just a matter of time.

Right now it has been like what, 5 hours?? That is fucking long, and I lost so much traffic it's not even funny. But there is a bright side to this, which is - it should not happen in the future, well, I hope.

I have never in all my life seen a host that was down more than "2" hours and Like Whoa is going on 12 hours of downtime right now!!

This is the second time this year that I can remember that they were down for over 12 hours too!

For all you guys that host there because you got spamed on ICQ... Arn't you glad you did?

I know how bad downtime can affect a website, 12 hours is nuts though.... I feel for ya all

Hmmmm.... http://www.icecoldcash.com and http://www.privategold.com both run on LikeWhoa servers and we have seen no down time today. Sales are coming in like normal and hits have been steady all day..

Not sure what problems you guys are having with LikeWhoa but we are running as normal. I have personally been with the for almost 2 years and have had minimal downtime compared to some of the other larger hosts I have tried.

Ok, I take back a little bit of that.. our sites are loading a little slower than normal and since about 3pm we have seen about a 20% drop in traffic but we still have sales coming in like normal so it can't be affecting us too badly.

I am sure they are working on whatever the problem is. Their tech guys are damn good and always jump on a problem quick.

Hmmmm... Smells funk nasty.. Talking with some people now and shit's STILLLLLLLLL down.

We are up but slow access.. they just told me 2-3 hours should be back to normal..

So lets all hope :)

I'm very pissed off. I thought likewhoa had backup providers but that isn't the case. My traffic is down 40%

hmmm.. think of it this way.. at least it happened on a day that probably would have been a low sales day anyway. Talked to several other people who run some bigger programs and today was not a huge sales day for them.. people probably were not in the mood for whacking off today..
