The first 18 month cycle started on 20th september 2007 when the program launched, affiliates are accumiliating $ totals already which is what creates the ordering in the top list. At the end of the 18 months, the top 5 affiliates will get their % Program Share. They will continue to get their % Program Share for the next 18 months (also at this point, the top list has been reset and a new 18 month cycle has started with Program Share for that cycle issued 18 months later).

Why?

perhaps because in order to get a wire transfer, you have to not only give the program your name, dob, SSN, address.... and bank account information? THere has to be a reason why a company wouldn't offer checks, at least.

I'm not saying this particular program is shady, but there are shady companies out there, and there's usually a reason for "things that make you go hmmmm...".

I only accept payments by check, paper trail, records...all that jazz

my accountant loves me for it and I don't plan on changing it

not to mention I have no interest in giving out my bank account info to anyone these days with the amount of shady people out there

Everything is also recorded with wire transfers. I prefer it myself. I find it reliable, fast and secure.

Nevertheless, I understand what you're saying and that one situation differs to the next. We all make our choice on what works for us. As a result, I am actively working on ways to make alternative payment options available to FetishAssets affiliates as soon as possible.
