i may agree with dirtyfranck, so easy to do this

first, chose a big nice pic and chopped it
sencond, put text over it and animate the last text
third, put a layer with color then blur and put over the logo
fourth, export it to image ready and animate

thats all, easy as abc

Nice try, but thats not exactly how I did it... You forgot about the borders, image effects, choosing the image and cropping it, making the logo readable on certain backrounds, etc etc... Its not easy as ABC like you say...

And if it was, why aren't you making banners and selling them then?

A quality banner for $10 ?

Price them @ $30
Sell 1/3 as many
Do 1/3 the work for the same profit.

Price them @ $50
Sell 1/5 as many
Do 1/5 the work for the same profit.

You're only worth $$$ what you ask for.
If you charge peanuts then that's what you personally value your skills at.

Why would anyone else value your skills higher than you?

Banners for a paysite? sponsor?
Charge a % of the monthly membership fee (50%+)
If they can't afford that you'll probably get screwed in the end anyway.

Or have them done offshore for 5@$10 and sell them for $10 each.

Prudent business people understand that you 'get what you pay for'.

Most I deal with are $20 per. Whether static, flash, whatever.

No offense but at $50 a pop nobody would buy those banners. Also, as a designer I think you should raise your prices if you always have new jobs to work on. If you're working full-time you could try raising the prices a bit to $12-$15, just dont go too far, look at the sites of top adult designers and make sure to keep your price well under them.

you should charge for your skill too ...

I say shoot for the moon and ask for $11.
