I really did not expect to see the rest of my question answered, specially after it was just called strange by them.

JustDaveXxx 10-07-2007 09:40 PM

:)Wow.. this is what i get to look forward to when i launch my new cash programs.. I thought NHB and Jui-jitsu post boards were bad!!

I'm nice and promise not to fuck anybody over... EVER!!..lol

MUCH RESPECT TO ALL..:)

Quick Buck 10-07-2007 09:49 PM

I'm not going to quote myself but I gave you my contact information I think 3 times now in this thread.

If you choose not to use it then really it's your own issue.

Again for the peanut gallery.. I have now told you how to contact me about this issue several times and you simply refuse to follow my very clear instructions.

I have also told you now several times that GFY is not our support board and that no matter how many times you post about something on GFY, it will not receive *support* from us.

Seriously.

RawAlex 10-07-2007 11:00 PM

...and you have read the posts serveral times and choose to ignore them.

You don't make much sense.

You must be the first affiliate program in history to actually notify the affiliate that you are terming their account for cheating. You guys really are stand up guys.. :1orglaugh

just more proof that most people on gfy haven't got the first clue about REAL business.

when you sign up to quickbuck you are entering into a contract with us....

Quote:

20. The term of this Agreement will begin upon our acceptance of your application to join the Program, and will end when terminated by either party. Either you or we may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by giving the other party notice of termination. Notice sent to your email address (as listed in our records) is considered sufficient notice of termination of the Agreement...........
see, when we cancel an account, we actually notify the affiliate.. otherwise we didnt TERMINATE THE CONTRACT you dimwit.

Just because you don't like somebody's activities doesn't mean i'm going to breach my contract with them.

ServerGenius 10-08-2007 06:47 AM

Quickbuck: I'm in favor of your arguments regarding all this I really do........I just
have to say that really I'm impressed with your "make friends, quick" skills.....
very entertaining............continue :thumbsup

Yeah, well, notification is easy... imagine something like this: "Hey tony, the guys on GFY spotted our zango shit, so I am going to have to turn off that account so it looks good. Contact Zango and get the links pulled so we don't waste any money!"

Quick Buck 10-08-2007 08:40 AM

and the fact that an ad is STILL popping up to this very moment with an "account terminated" page is what gave you that deep insight alex?

seriously, how can you possibly make any money spending THIS much time stalking me? my excuse is that I've got a team of 8 people working while i'm goofing off here bantering with idiots.

RawAlex 10-08-2007 09:26 AM

It doesn't take any time to "stalk" you... why would anyone bother? I don't have zango installed (why anyone would want to have spyware on their system is beyond me) so I can't check. But it was reported earlier in the thread that the popup was gone, so there you go.

However, one of your "rogue affiliates" is screwing a ton of people over and you don't seem to be in a rush to address the issue. Like this one: http://www.evelynlin.net

Anyway, I am sure you will get around to addressing this problem one of these days. You might want to "talk" to this "rogue" as well.

BradM 10-08-2007 09:45 AM

Quickbuck: Why bother replying? Just a waste of your time.

Or it could go like... Hey guys hurry up and disable our in house account ID used on the zango adds. Then go disable the zango adds so we don't waste any money, we'll have to figure out what keywords to buy next.

wait so the zango pop up over ccbill pages is now happening again with an account terminated by quickbuck.

WTF? you said you contacted the "affiliate" and told him you would be banning him. Some one said then ALL zango pop ups over ccbill pages stopped all together. All in the matter of mins from a post here saying that quick buck was poping over ccbill signup pages. Now you are saying that the pop up over ccbill signup pages is still happening, but it is saying account terminated ? Why would the guy you notifed start sending traffic again after you told him you were banning his account.

is this correct ??

I have to be honest.. I didn't read the whole thread, just a few posts and the one QuickBuck posted to. I don't want to be misunderstood, I dislike Hooper and have made that clear lots of times. I believe that his business ethics leave substantial amounts to be desired based on what I have observed.

Brad

RawAlex 10-09-2007 03:55 PM

Brad, I think that is something many people can agree to. I think you can also agree that if you saw a post on here "Oh my god all of Mojohost is down" you won't post back "I can't look into the problem until you email me about it". I know this isn't your support board, but I also know you are smarter than to play dumb on an issue like this.

Quick Buck people are doing the proverbial "Fiddle while Rome burns".

Send me some proof that it's not content that the guy bought and i'll take action on it. To me it looks like somebody who is building galleries.

I don't ban affiliates based on heresay.... and no... 1000 posts of heresay does not make it any more real.

This is Danny Cox, using Carol's account.

I'm a bit late with this because I really don't hang around this place and just found out about this thread.

I have contacted Quickbucks on three (3) different occasions about the problem with the carolcox.org website that is using stolen content and sending traffic into xxxpass.com. Since the affiliate in question was going against the T&C's, I had fully assumed that my notification would be taken seriously and acted upon accordingly. I sent proof that we owned all content and that their affiliate was in both Trademark and copyright violation. Needless to say, I was just ignored and never received a response back.

I did try to handle this privately, but since Quickbucks deemed to ignore this issue I must now ask publicly, will you take action?

Oh boy oh boy oh boy, it just goes on and on :error

scoreman 10-11-2007 07:56 AM

You have stated that 100% of your traffic comes from affiliates. The natural conclusion then is that your company places great emphasis on studying the affiliates and working with them to build your business. This "rogue" affiliate was sending quite a bit of business and yet he/she/<you?> would not have been able to demonstrate any sort of traffic in comparison to the sales. NATs provides a number of ways that you would have seen the sales volume and it would have shown immediately that this person was up to something. 50 joins on zero traffic tends to stand out doesn't it? or was it 500 or 5000 joins on zero traffic?

You guys come on here with huge brassy balls basically telling everyone to fuck off and that this is a rogue webmaster. Any program owner that runs an affiliate program smells bullshit in your explanation. Combine this with the fact that you run $50 free trials, it seems to virtually impossible that you were not scrutinizing those affiliates sending joins that did not have traffic to explain those sales. The exact same stats could also indicate an affiliate carding joins to your program, and I fail to see how you would not have measures in place to protect against that, especially since you are running your own merchant accounts. So on the one hand you can catch fraud like someone running joins from a credit card database and proxies, but you cannot catch the "rogue" affiliate who runs joins via a Zango redirect until the shit hits the fan on the message boards?

You guys are full of shit crooks.

RawAlex 10-11-2007 07:58 AM

Usually the guys with the biggest, brassest balls are their own "rogue affiliates". If someone has balls so big, why share the money with anyone else?

TeenCat 10-11-2007 07:59 AM

i read one line and omg, quick buck dont care about people here. thank you :thumbsup

CarolCox 10-15-2007 06:05 PM

An update on the "carolcox.org" scam website run by the "Mexican".

We filed a DMCA complaint and a Trademark infringement complaint with the prime hosting company at http://www.theplanet.com. They finally acted on it, and removed the illegal content that was up. I did notify them that all the other pages were also in infringement, but I guess they are waiting on the individual site owners to file a DMCA. So if you have one of the noted websites, I would recommend that you also file a DMCA as ThePlanet.com will act on it.

The interesting thing here is that although the content has been removed, when you go to http://www.carolcox.org a join page for xxxpass.com is still there. I do find in amazing, and quite unsettling, that QuickBucks allows this to continue. They obviously are running all the sites in question as anyone else would quickly act and remove the offending affiliate (if there indeed is one). At this point, they are showing that they either own the sites, or are in full collaboration with it. There really is no other explanation....although I would love to hear one from a QuickBucks representative.

when you sign up to quickbuck you are entering into a contract with us....

see, when we cancel an account, we actually notify the affiliate.. otherwise we didnt TERMINATE THE CONTRACT you dimwit.

Just because you don't like somebody's activities doesn't mean i'm going to breach my contract with them.

I believe most contracts can be terminated without notice especially if the affiliate is breaking your TOS. :2 cents: it all depends on how you word your own contract, i don't think most contracts are worded the way yours is.

I did try to handle this privately, but since Quickbucks deemed to ignore this issue I must now ask publicly, will you take action?

and QuickBuck says GFY is not their support forum, to contact them directly if you need support...

How many times Danny ?

Apparently contacting them directly doesnt work either.

The guys at Quickbuck squatted on a lot of domains in the past. Even this forum was the target of their squatting. It's not a stretch to believe they would be squatting on these domains and doing something like this.

Bump for some good info for those with content being illegally used. Thanks Danny...

I noticed that today too Danny.

One other thing I noticed is the misappropriation of the names and false advertising. Example, this site:

CourtneyCummz.org

if you click a couple of pictures, you get the xxxpass signup, and the page title is "Courtney Cummz 100% Free".

Now, I have to ask: Does quick buck have any legal Courtney Cummz content? Or for that matter, do they have "Carol Cox Web Site, Pictures, Videos, Downloads, News and Links"?

Quick Buck, you guys need to get away from this stuff fast. From where I sit, much of that stuff looks not only actionable, but potential fodder for FTC.

Brad is one of the best, and he sticks to his ethics. Anytime I have spoken to him it's been nothing but the best answers.

You'd be making a good move.
