This is great News, especially since we are in the process of implementing ccbill!

If that's the case, then the "Exclusion List Additions between March 13, 2006 and August 6, 2006" and later, would sure give a good indication of what programs are buying zango traffic :2 cents: |
Anyone know how Epoch did with it? I haven't seen anything pop over wnu since, but would like to know for sure.
Still getting credit card apps over ccbill join pages, not targeting ccbill, but the terms they are using on THEIR SECURE PAGE. That would make me feel comfortable seeing that third party software is reading everything on a secure connection.. I do hope there is some follow-through on this though. This was definitely fraud and they(Quickbuck, their 'affiliate', and zango) shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. |
Thanks for posting that Will. I am personally still waiting to see what happens. Did ZANGO REALLY put them on a list, or did they add them to a pretty page that means nothing.
Companies like Zango often need a bigger push, like a summons to court to get them truly motivated. |
Could it be that the programs terminated the webmasters in question and now they don't have popups only because no one is currently buying said traffic?
|
Great to heard :)

Is Epoch involved in all this to? I'm playing catch up cuz I was out of town...

WTF is all this shit about "Oh, terrific! Zango's got an exclusion list...
Let's get on it and everything will be fine again."???!? Of course I give CCBill credit for their recent actions here, but people... this is only good for a start to get rid of this steaming pile of ranch horse dung...... THIS JUST MEANS THEY'RE EXTORTING ALL SMALLER COMPANIES & SOLE PROPRIETORS! *Calming down...* Interesting how one fuck behind a lot of this shit has blessed this thread with his posting... I know why he finds this subject of own interest. I'm sure he'll like the jailtime he'll probably get... You'll get to drop the soap a whole lot cowboy! :321GFY |

who would that be? I will take a guess ... 12clicks? but i really don't know who are talking about. |
The exclusion list on their part is real stupid. From a legal perspective it's almost an admission of infringing on copyright. Opens the door for other companies to come in and sue.

I'm not an attorney and this was not legal advice. Read the MS ULA and get back to me... |

If Zango backed down, does that mean they refunded the "advertisers" who contracted to have their stuff hijack other people's referrals? Considering the breadth of CCBill sites and affiliates out there, I imagine that's a hell of a lot of traffic, and form clicks, to redistrubute to their other smaller mom & pop buy-page-overlays...
|
This is good news, but I still wish CCBill sued them..
:2 cents: |

Alrighty then... It wouldn't surprise me if You could make that happen, unlikely otherwise - I know how to express myself. So, You can honestly say You're out of that "business" sector now, and focusing on Your program or whatever? IF so, then good for You (trust me on that one) and the rest of us here, and surfers worldwide. Evidence will speak for itself against those who engage in this shit, it just takes the right people to dig such up before class action. And it will probably not be disorganized surfers doing that. |
I may be missing something but I can't see ccbill's domain in any of the posted links.
or is that page just not updated since 1 Novemeber 2006 as it says on the bottom ? |
