its highly improbable that someone could be prosecuted for pics with a white powder. you on the other hand, can be easily prosecuted being that you not only broke the law and every detail of that can be verified via server records... but you admitted it all on a public forum, spelling it out in sufficient detail.

I never thought there would really be any legal issues with some vigilante content removal on a rapidshare board.. However, Gmail is a different deal and I think this is a pretty big fucking deal.

Ever heard of.... We decided to drop the charges if you cooperate with us to take down this CP ring?

No.. please elaborate. I am a guy who, in the process of removing illegally posted ADULT content from the public domain, accessed a criminal's email account then found evidence of what appears to be a large-scale ki**ie porn ring. I changed the avatar. It was reported to the authorities through ASACP page. I never made the gmail account public. So things are harder? Holy shit man.. So many experts on my situation.

no no man, i mean that its better to make things outside public, so you no more have problems with people against you ;) and of course, less marks you keep more you are safe. so do not change anything next time, just report from some free email adress and its all ;) but you did good work by reporting thats for sure :thumbsup keep it up!

:Oh crap I misunderstood your post. Glad to see some folks appreciate it but it wasn't what I was looking for. Thanks.. This is my own vendetta against Rapidshare.
