I should rephrase what I said earlier...... Your Content doesnt suck, You seem to actually produce it somewhat well, specially for your age... I think you'd make a better content broker while having someone totally revamp your site and market it for you, that way you can spend more time on content

Where is it written that every pay site has to have the same looking splash page? Wild women getting banged in the images, with a few blurbs of ad text and the big three links "members" "join" and "tour"

If any of you have looked at the bruno b cum site, you'd see that it too is a lot different than the "standard" paysite design. Yet I'm 1:135 this month so far with them, on mostly all TGP traffic too.

Let's start accepting some other types of looks to paysites, because frankly some of these so-called "amateurish" looking sites are doing very well.

whats so shitty about my design... you can manauver through it very easy it's very user friendly what should it be a fucking map...

it's bland, it's boring, very uninteresting, your images don't match, there's shit all over the place, no symmetry at all, and in general, looks like a three year old put it together.

that about sums it up.

No.... but whoever put that dirty whatever site together broke every elementary rule of basic design pretty much in one page. I'm not going to spend all night explaining proper design techniques to you here, but trust me when I say, there isn't much there that can even remotely be called a *technique*. It's extremely amateur. And any other designer worth the title will tell you the same thing.

dirty_ds... the problem w/ the design is that someone who either wasn't very artistic, or had very limited experience in design, designed it. nothing really goes together, and you can tell someone within their first 6 months of designing web pages designed it. or some kid whos designed for 5 years w/ no artistic talent designed it :) trust me and the others on the board about this, yes i know how you feel... its your site, and its done, and its natural to try and defend it, but get over the pride and take our advice man.

CD, it's not about being "standard" or "different"..... what I said was not a plug for doing a site style similar to many others, (which does still work by the way) but rather a look at the basics of what he's got there. He asked for us to rate his site, and I'm rating it a zero in the design department for specific reasons:

1. Half dozen different type styles that do not compliment each other.
2. Tour background doesn't match page background. (which is fine as long as you weren't TRYING to match it.)
3. Extremely poor shadowing technique. Present in some places, not in others, and none match each other.
4. Low quality export.
5. Bland execution of theme.
6. Miscellaneous images of various resolutions that not only don't support the site, but don't even support each other.

all that's just on the splash page...
also note that nothing I listed has anything to do with being creative whatsoever. Those are simply basic design fuckups. Which is why I say.... it sucks. All the talk about being different than the norm and whatnot doesn't change the fact that the site is very poorly made.

I pretty much agree, but that's not my point. My point is that pay sites do not have to have that "professional standard look" to be profitable. I don't know about this guy's site's profitability, but I do know that the bruno b site sells and converts for me quite well, better than many of my other "more professional-looking" sponsor's sites. Regular surfers don't generally care about such intricate designer things, they simply want good porn for their membership money. Bruno b's site is simple, clean, easy to navigate and the videos are quite good, the girls are good-looking.

Bottom line is, does it sell? If the answer is yes, then there's no point in him spending hundreds of dollars on a new design.

those are not "intricate designer things".... they're basic common sense items that form the framework for the site, a.k.a. sales pitch.
