350 Freaky Speed Demons!

Neal 11-28-2007 10:49 AM

well it made the news..http://www.abc15.com/Default.aspx

Not going to be too hard to trace, how many LP640' s are there in Arizona, like 1..

JohnnyJames 11-28-2007 10:56 AM

There may be some publicity in this, I guess, after thinking it through a little better. I sure as hell wouldn't risk it, but I am not Rob, of course.

He should phone his attorney and do the following, I think:

Hold a press conference apologizing to the good people of Arizona for a terrible lapse in judgement, while wearing a t-shirt featuring a very prominent logo for whatever site he wants to push traffic to. Then maybe donate 10k to a safe driving program or some type of charity.

He can do all of this without actually admitting guilt, and I bet if he acts quick enough, every TV station in that region will cover it.

The authorities already know who he is. May as well craft this into something beneficial.

Hell, I'd even grant interviews, offer some of the reporters a ride in the car, maybe rent a track for the press converence and put FTV banners all around the damn thing.

Just an idea.

If he screwed himself over by posting this online, THAT damage is already done and he will face those consequences no matter what.

So, nothing to lose, really at this point. I sure hope (as someone else already pointed out) that his 2257 files are IMMACULATE.

A fantastic marketing idea.
Very smart, and something I would definitely do!

Great idea if you think you can get the TV stations to walk in and promote a porn site across the news like that. Not likely to happen. They would see it a mile away and unless it was a live feed, they would either blur out the product placements or just not run it at all, except for the apology part, thus, costing a lot of scratch for an attempt at something that would probably cost 100 times more than the potential sales.

You are also talking local coverage vs national. Either way, I don't see any public broadcast location knowingly putting the URL of a porn site up for promotion.

I think I'd personally try to keep his site as far away from this as he could. FTV does have public nudity if I'm not mistaken. I seem to remember that solo girl from the now closed program, was charged with public nudity from videos on her site.

If I'm not mistaken that girl was in Nevada as well but I can't for the life of me think of her name. Regardless it doesn't take much of a stretch of the imagination to figure this could happen.

When the news comes to get comment from him he should be in a FTV girls t-shirt and have Lia standing next to em in heels and looking hot.

He should welcome the media.

Work it.

FTV doesnt go out and party, drink, smoke, ect. He stays home and works all day, everyday. He has one pleasure and thats cars. Now its not really my thing but hey, to have the first 2008 in the country and set a speed record in it, is kinda cool. So please dont hate thats not why I started the thread.

DO NOT SHARE YOUR ADVENTURES WITH HATERS BECAUSE THEY WILL HATE ON YOU.....

safe or not safe is not my concern...

if you put a picture of you having a threesome with the 2 hottest girls in the world.

One or two people will congratulate while everyone else will ask if you wore a condom and if you didnt they say how you are putting lives at risk..... :2 cents:

Last time I had a condom at 219 mph, the damn thing split right down the middle. Must have been a retread, but the guy at the showroom SWORE it was new.

Normally I would agree with you, but this sort of thing could have been done on a track. Should have been.

I am all for people offing themselves in unusual ways, as long as they don't off me at the same time.

Perfect example: Guy took a tour of the Grand Canyon last year in a tourist helicopter. Once they got out over the thing, he unlatched the safety belt, opened the door, and stepped outside.

THAT is innovative thinking. And didn't really inconvenience anyone-well, except maybe the sanity of the other tourists on that helicopter.

Certainly didn't endanger me or my family.

will76 11-28-2007 02:14 PM

Its funny to see all the people who have been around for years that you think would know better acting like fucking noobs.

" I would run with this, great publicity for his sites!" . " I would have Lia at the door and wear a FTV shirt!".

Real brillant morons.

When you own adult sites you shouldn't be trying to be in the media spot light and piss off the police. Worst thing that can happen? The feds show up at his office and do a 2257 investigation. A DA gets a hair up his ass and brings obscenity charges against him. They investigate every model who ever worked for him to try to find something they can use against him. Next comes the IRS....

But you right, he should run with it so he can try to get his porn sites on the news so he can make extra sales :warning:upsidedow

You're wrong. He had another thread on here a while back showcasing his several high end cars; everyone was complimentary and polite. The issue here is he's potentially putting innocent people's lives in danger for his own personal entertainment; that's unacceptable. That's not 'hating on' someone.

And oh, let's not forget the PR rep Lia whateverthefuckhernameis trying to explain it away; outrageous.

"potentially" would be if the road was completely clear and there were no blockades on the entrance ramps where he was making the run.. then there would have been a chance for someone to enter the freeway and perhaps be in danger.

He absolutely put other people's lives at risk (there were cars on the road... they are visible in the video).

But remember, he doesn't drink or smoke or party, and when you own a half a million dollar car, you become more aware of your surroundings than a normal driver, so that makes it acceptable.

Yes.. having money makes you more awesome than anyone else and more capable of making good decisions. If you don't have that much money, you must not be as intelligent or are just jealous.

What a stupid argument you made.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 11-28-2007 03:28 PM

Are we getting to the part where people start threatening to pull links to FTV yet?

JohnnyJames 11-28-2007 03:36 PM

I don't see any hate in the thread.

Just a bunch of people dumbfounded by how utterly stupid this act was. Not the man. He must have some intelligence or he would not have that level of financial success, at least not without a lottery or inheritance.

Intelligence, sure. Common sense. Not in this instance.

I retract my earlier comment that it would be good publicity. Had ALL his income been from porn, I would still suggest it. The damage was done at that point, so why the heck not run with it. The FBI, if they show up to check his 2257's, was probably already headed over to his office. You just KNOW someone in Arizona state government is orgasming at the chance to "protect our citizens" from not just insane drivers, but also from out of control "porn kings".

I don't envy his place under this microscope.

And then. . .A DENTIST? Holy crap. What the heck is this going to do to his practice? And his family, friends, etc. The media will be all over him, already are in fact. One news report I saw said they had "repeatedly been requesting a comment" from the man they believed was the owner of that car.

It won't be hard to connect the dots to his porn dealings.

thats not the point.

100% of people on this board engaged in illegal activities at least a few times in their lives.
speeding, running the stop sign, using drugs and so on..

everybody is just jumping on the bandwagon because subconsciously they are jealous of Rob. They are jealous that they dont have such a car to speed in, that they dont have even a slightest chance with the kind of women that hang around Rob, they are jealous that their life is so dull, they spend all their time posting on an internet boards instead of partying like rockstars.

:321GFY

Let's see....

1- posting video of illegal activity is just stupid. Be prepared for the firestorm no matter how cool you think it may be. Make the claim sure, but why provide evidence to more than anyone that matters? If there is some "official" record kept of these things, send the video off to Lambo HQ or something like that. let them verify. This was just braggadocio. The only other alternative would be celebrating an act like this because you have to restrict yourself from calling it dangerous and stupid? That makes no sense at all.

2- The old people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones argument is nice, but it neglects that calling someone out for doing bad is acceptable. Why should you or me as a person be restricted from saying "hey, that's pretty fucked up" just because we aren't perfect ourselves?

3- When you have your psych degree and can properly diagnose everyone on this board and worldwide with envy and jealousy, I will take that comment more seriously. I don't think anyone is jealous of him going that fast in that dangerous of a situation. I fly airplanes much faster than that. It's really no big deal to me.

4- Jealous of the women he hangs with? You mean the ones he pays to come and work for him? Why would there be any jealousy of that?

5- Lia said Rob doesn't drink or smoke or party, remember? His life is just as dull as ours. Well, actually I do like wine and the occasional cocktail. Perhaps my life is slightly more exciting than his. He apparently only likes to drive fast and post it on the internet.

yes.. arizona and germany are like neighbors!!! LMAO Guten Tag mein Herr. Wie gehts?

Just because you can drive in Germany like a bat out of hell doesn't make it OK or reasonable in other locales. That would be like saying its ok to beat your wife in Saudi Arabia because they don't value women there so what's wrong with doing it in America or the UK or anywhere else?

Legal is legal, not is not. Change this from the freeway to a schoolzone in Germany or Austria (so we have a speedlimit)... now let him blast the hell through there. Change your mind at all?

Why are you people mentioning word 'illegal' so much in this thread? Sure he exceeded the allowed speed limit a lot, so what? I bet most of you exceed the allowed speed limit at 10mph or so, this must be illegal too. I bet some of you push exploit sites and other shit to make money, this is illegal too (well, even more).

Does dangerous work better for you? How about fool hearty?

maddox 11-28-2007 05:51 PM

I already said so in this thread, how is this more dangerous on your almost empty road than on a german autobahn? it's the same damn road and a lot less cars. All your reactions are like he would do something unbelievable amazing, it's just a stupid car made to drive fast. It was also pretty safe, this car is very stable at those speeds you can easily take your hands off the steering wheel and nothing will happen, the front suspension is made this way so that the car goes always straight and you almost cannot change the direction without steering wheel. Other drivers, well they can hit you in Germany too if they are stupid enough to not look in the rear mirror.

It was also pretty safe, this car is very stable at those speeds you can easily take your hands off the steering wheel and nothing will happen, the front suspension is made this way so that the car goes always straight and you almost cannot change the direction without steering wheel. Other drivers, well they can hit you in Germany too if they are stupid enough to not look in the rear mirror.

it's not the autobahn.. simple as that.

I am going to give you the benefit of being ESL, so I will type this slowly for you.

They are not the same road in any manner. One is built for 70 MPH one is built for speeds much higher than that.

One has drivers expecting everyone else to be driving 70 MPH, one has drivers expecting traffic at much higher speeds.

One has drivers that stay to the right when not passing, the other doesn't.

Does that help or do you still want to act Austrian?
