I thought it (no country) was a great movie. Unpredictable, violent, incredibly evil villain, great story and acting & most importantly - doesn't follow the Hollywood formula. I'd say many people will hate it because of the ending, but those people with limited intelligence who dont get the ending , the first 3 quarters of it are worth the price of admission alone.

thats cool i also want to see the movie :) should be great.!

I don't get excited by films anymore probably because i have seen 2 many over the years and just see gloss and marketing riding high above substance value but the studios know that with newer generations coming all the time above other things like peoples tastes that there will always be a buck to be made out of them.
I remember watching films like total recall and loved them because special effects were newer to me then than now where it seems to be all effects over substance.
Good acting and good scripts give a film its lasting value to one viewer which is why i can still watch films like scarface and casino over and over again.
I like mm and have watched 'dont bother to knock' quite a few times over.
What film can people here watch over and over again and why?

I go to the movies by myself all the time. As a matter of fact, about half the things I do, I roll solo. Movies, out to eat, bars, etc.

If you can't enjoy your own company, why should anyone else?

I saw "Legend" today (not alone this time) and it was better than I expected :thumbsup

Is this REMAKE differnt or better then the Charleton Heston OMEGA MAN version?

The OMEGA MAN Version was a really good movie (A little low production values) but overall a good flick

yup, it doesnt follow the script.

the script got me all hyped for the movie in the first place. i wonder why they deviated, perhaps it was too intricate.

Yes, at times.

Having seen both and NOT having read the book, I would say this is as good as, if not better than Omega Man.....and I'm a big Chuck Heston fan.

I think the plot line was very similar with only a few variations.

Well, that's true, I just feel that people will think I'm a loser because I ALWAYS do EVERYTHING alone, and maybe it's because I feel like a loser too so I feel like people can sense that.

I don't have the guts to eat in a restaurant or go to a bar/club by myself though, I would just feel weird. Always takeout food for me.

F-U-Jimmy 12-15-2007 10:37 PM

Just came back from the movie and i was not too impressed . The zombie effects reminded me of the first Species film the GCI figures jumped around all over the place defying the laws of gravity. I thought Will Smith played a great part but the film was too slow for my taste and had a bad ending.

HighRoller 12-16-2007 11:30 PM

I just got back, I like will smith, his part was decent, I didn't care for the movie either, too repetitive, not much of a point to the movie.

Horny Alf 12-20-2007 12:27 PM

i enjoyed the movie even though everyone and their mother is bashing it. Im still trying to figure out who set the trap that wills character fell in ( the vampires or will )? Anyone have any theories?

SomeCreep 12-20-2007 12:55 PM

"I Am Legend" rocked! Definitely a movie I'd watch again.
