The proper way to handle this scenario would be to contact our 24/7 webmaster support team located here: http://www.hugetraffic.com/help.htm (there are emails and ICQs), or just email webmaster at hugetraffic dot com and provide an example of the images that you would like to have removed. They typically will be removed within 24 hours, but give it a couple of days if reported during the weekend.

You get more flies with honey...you know what I mean ;) hit me up on ICQ and we can get this issue resolved right away.

I've tried that method before to no avail. The last time I tried getting ahold of someone to get something like this taken care of it took over a week and a thread like this.

I am about to head to the airport, I will contact you when I land.

i think not..

who's terms did you read..

i could write terms that say " all this stolen shit here is completely legal" doesnt make it legal :)

what flings terms mean is that if YOU are a member and YOU own a copyright to a picture you are submitting that they now ALSO own that copyright ( i think )

that doesn't mean you can submit playboy pics and now fling can use playboy models in advertisements , perhaps even a magazine ( best of fling )

No. She is your average looking nextdoor girl that people are probably using to message members claiming she needs money for college etc. Some members are probably dumb enough to send money, so the behavior always continues.
.

i dont believe they are doing it either ( submitting the pic ) i'm sure it is just fake members BUT i dont believe those are random pics on the banners , those are chosen , unless 50% of the profiles are fakes , then it would also seem unlikely 50% of the profiles are scammers. I see an awful lot of solo girls on the fling banners.

anyways a helpfull suggestion might be to implement some more profile reviwers to weed the scammers out.. real girls dont use fake pics thus that only leaves scammers or "auto generated members".

I'm obviously no expert on dating sites but i would think people would be more inclined to stay with less people , but more real people.

or perhaps work closely with solo girl sites so they have a email they can quickly use to get their content removed. ( i think this is easier and offers a freindlier approach )

not like they should have to constantly check , but i think the future in copyright protection will be sites that work for content owners to find and remove infringing material for them sdo its not so laborious for each owner.

like shoehorn pays a company a small fee to actively search the dating sites for infringers.

fling works actively with companys that locate copyright infringemnt for its clients

Nookster 12-20-2007 03:43 PM

This is just one reason why I don't promote ANYONE even related to Fling and...those guys. :2 cents:

Phil 12-20-2007 03:58 PM

who owns fling?

philguy 12-20-2007 04:29 PM

It's just a sad reality that you're going to have to initiate some sort of legal action to make them take notice.

Until it becomes potentially cost prohibitive through litigation to do so, they aren't going to expend the resources necessary to deal with this issue.

That's just business.

madfuck 12-20-2007 04:32 PM

wtf ever.... who cares...

WiredGuy 12-20-2007 04:33 PM

Seriously, this happens all the time, to DatingGold, AFF, Fling, SexSearch, all the big dating sites get hit with this problem. It sucks, but there's no way around it, you basically just have to send them notice and get it taken down.

You're a fool. The minute someone actually pursues their legal remedies aggressively, both the sponsor and the affiliate, can be held accountable.

tony286 12-20-2007 04:43 PM

That thing with vivid suing a tube, if they win it will set precedent for the whole we dont know and its up to you to find your stuff.

Lace 12-20-2007 04:43 PM

Do you understand how many fake profiles are being made on Fling per day?

The site is huge, its a huge target of spammers/scammers/etc.....

Think about it.

How many fake profiles are on myspace and other dating sites?

Just because they can't police it doesn't mean they should get away with copyright infringement time and time again.

Fucked up comment, the guy complaints about an infringement and you mock him. Because it is a site that according to you no one ever heard of. Hail to the BangBros. Links pulled by the way, but what do you care you never heard of me before I am sure.

Merry Christmas

Just imagine how fun this type of shit will be in 5 more years.

V_RocKs 12-20-2007 07:30 PM

How to get this shit done immediately.

Send a DMCA complaint WITH proof of ownership to:

Nasty Dollars
Their Host
Their Registrar
Their Attorney

Keep doing this. Eventually their host will give them a ton of shit because that act makes it illegal for all parties to turn a blind eye. In other words, if the host does nothing about your request for the removal, they are in effect co-conspirators.

Or cheaper and quicker - email them at ask them to remove them.... :2 cents:

WarChild 12-20-2007 07:40 PM

So Fling steals content to make fake profiles but fake profiles on Myspace are created by users? I'm confused.

We just found pics of our girls also hosted on their servers, being used to promote their product.

Seen a few other companies pics on there as well.

Meloman 12-21-2007 01:00 AM

Random thought:

I wonder how many of those profiles are just affiliates of the solo girls.

Furthurmore I wonder how profitable those profiles are to the both the webmaster & solo girl program (quality/signup ratio/retention).

If there are enough profiles on all the dating sites promoting a solo girl it may be a decent volume of sales.

And if it's a decent volume of sales & the quality is good, then the affiliate program obviously would be happy and probably not want to loose this traffic stream.

So now that profile pic may end up in a fling banner in a completely innocent way (rotating fling banner pulling members images). Now that profile pic in the banner could potentially lead someone to signup to fling and furthurmore could lead the person to the solo girl program profile which then leads to the solo girl porn site sale. In other words the surfer signs up to fling specifically because of a certain profile image. Then that profile upsells the solo girl program.

In this case the image taken from the solo girl program ultimiately still promotes the solo girl program. Just comes down to how many joins is it and how good a quality. If the program gets enough sales from this method I don't see why they would care that there images wind up in fling banners that ultimaletly upsell back to them.

Just a completely random thought.

The flaw in your story is that there is no way without extensive research from the surfer to find out about the solo site.

Theses profiles are used by scammers, and are in no way associated with the solo sites in the surfer's mind.

You guys are fucking unreal.

You profit from Fling, so this "diversion" tactic is pretty fucking lame.

EVERYONE sees through your bullshit.

YOU should be apologizing and fixing the issue.

It is STEALING whether intentional or not.

:2 cents:

Or is this permission for anyone to use your content anyway they want?

commonsense 12-21-2007 03:13 AM

BTW it's well known that Fling/Nastydollars actively profits from the theft of other peoples content via:

*Surfer boards
*Torrent sites
*Tubes
*Dating

Feel free to correct me if this is a mistake, or add any others I might not know of :winkwink:

That's all Pipecrew does nowadays. Once upon a time, he was a humble Canadian student running a TGP making a couple of bucks a day and respecting all the guys bigger than him. Somehow, he got hooked up with BangBros, took an "Asshole 101" course, became their resident board shit talker and now he walks around like his shit doesn't stink.

It's quite hilarious, especially since he's likely only pulling high five figures but acting like he's making seven.

This would kill two birds with one stone and would be very easy to set up.

You would have to have real female members first. (old thread got me, but this would still apply)

The fact they are still "allowing" this shit to continue and I keep finding my content in their ads is not old and dusty. New to this day.
