I always build these from scratch. It's pretty simple, just use my layout as a outline. Build 2 stud walls, plywood on the front, particle board for the top underlay and interior shelves, fabric cover the shelves, use whatever for the top, (I once used "peel & stick" tiles on a 16 ft bar!) and then cover the front - bead board, hardwood, laminate, carpet, whatever. I can usually blueprint the entire design on 1 piece of paper. As long as you keep it square it is really simple, you just have to get started. Even if you make small mistakes here and there, when it's complete you rarely notice. I should add I used base and corner trim around the bar top to finish the edge.

Total was around $350-400 for the bar including the $50 sink (wasn't too happy about that) and add another $125 for the tap parts I already had, (regulator, tap, tower, tank, etc...) I went with a little nicer refridgerator, ($350) for the extra freezer space and to hold a full sized keg. In all I have spent around 5 full days building and finishing - still have to add the recessed lights in the ceiling and add a few wall outlets for the neon signs.

That's awesome dude. That is going to be one of the first projects when I get into my new place. A bar and also a fire pit in the backyard, although, it will be warming up soon here in the Phoenix, so that one is on the back burner for a while.

I'll be damned if I bust my ass to build a fire pit and surrounding area and then don't get to enjoy it right away because it's 150 degrees outside.

I looked at the small kegerators but I needed a good sized freezer for the Jeager. There are always sacrafices :(
