unpermitted location with no showers or bathrooms, negotiated with the
talent and gave me a list of stuff to shoot (little did I know he told
them only 1/2 of what was on my sheet) He then put the talent through a
grueling shoot. Shot 6 complete scenes with stills, video and acting
scenarios which I completed in record time with no brakes and no food or
water supplied by Ama Joe Many hours later the talent laughed when he
tried to blame me for taking too long. They complained that they did
twice what was agreed upon at the start of the shoot to no avail. He
just called the agent and tried shift blame and squirm out of paying
more, but I am sure the agent knew what was up or found out after
talking to the talent.
The talent loudly stated they would never work for him again and stormed
out after thanking me for being nice to them and assuring me it was not
my fault. Three weeks later he only paid me 1/3 of what we agreed apon
even though every single still was perfectly exposed and video was way
better than his "features" that were shot by the shakiest camera camera
I have scene and were certainly not capable of ataining over 2 stars
from avn I heard he has hired (set up scam) many camera people just to
get the talent cheap and keep them longer that agreed upon and blame it
on them (set up scam) I was going to call the labor board on him but
seemed like too much trouble, may still...
Agents - bear in mind any producer is responsible for his employees
actions.
Talent, industry professionals, suppliers and everyone else - Stay away
from this lying, cheating, rip off artist. Why spend so much time,
energy and effort trying to rip people off when if you treat them right
riches will come back to you tenfold?

Joe from AMA.......Burns Talent $500.00

Monday, August 22nd, 2005. Jessica Jammer was hired for a g/g set
at 12:00pm to shoot for AMA Video. She was told by AMA, payment can be
picked up on the 31st of August. It has been now 1 month later,
still NO PAYMENT! Details were that 3 girls were hired from me to
shoot that day and I was told that all checks would be available on
August 31, 2005, along with management fees. August 31, I go to AMA ,
7334 Topanga Canyon Rd, to collect all checks for the girls. Joe
proceeds to hand me one check for the total amount of 1,300. I asked
him why he was paying me in one check for 3 different girls and myself,
his response..... That is all I have in the budget . I replied
with that is not acceptable, as well as, this is not the original
agreement. So he paid the other two girls their agreed rates and
told me that he was going to contact his producer and myself and have a
meeting to discuss the issue. After several attempts to contact him,
he has refused to pay both Jessica and myself. He has also refused to
speak to either one of us. A total of 3 girls shot that day and 2
were paid, but not Jessica Jammer.

His response now is to contact his lawyer.

I was not going to post this at all, until after reading that he had
burned a producer on another occasion for location fee. I feel that by
bringing this issue to light, that not only will both of us possibly be
compensated as originally agreed upon, in addition there might be other
talent with similar stories.

BEWARE ALL TALENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Warning to all Talent and Home Owners, Joe at AMA Video has not paid for Location.

Back on 8/31 we rented out our location to Joe and he promised he would send the check the next day well it is 9/20 and we still have no check. He has told my assistant who handles this for me he sent it several times. I am warning talent and location people GET YOUR MONEY as soon as you are done dont fall for the check in the mail line like we did!! I know this is not related to porn performance but I felt that people should know the Directors that dont pay like they promise too!!!

Besides Joe was warned that if he didnt have some respect and class and make good on the money that I would post this because at this point it is no longer about the money!!

If anyone else has had trouble with this company please report to this site!!

Just so that everyone is aware because I have noticed the confusion in the room:)
I don't post on GFY for Donny Long because I am busy doing business. You all seem to be handling this situation without me you don't need my opinions here my dear:)
He has a marketing and PR person working in his office and they post what they want to post here. I have my own company...my user name is Cleopatra of the Nile. I only post things pertaining to my company. I have answered a few funny threads as I have seen them, hasn't everyone:)

Just to put everyone at ease so there is no more confusion. The Cleo PR person has a different sig because the user name cannot change, you will see it is no longer my sig.

Whatever seems to be going on with those two will sort itself out eventually. I apologise if you are assuming it is me. They have made it very clear it is not, so just read the sig and you will see it is not me

There is no need for me to be here going back and forth between AMA and DL. It doesn't put anything useful on my plate and I have so much on my plate already, I run four companies and have many clients for marketing and PR with my company Tiger Eye Entertainment.

Donny Long Productions is MY client. He has someone else doing the in-office work as far as the posting, the advertisements etc. This is not my department. I handle DL's bigger clients and I handle large marketing projects that sometimes take a few months to structure and implement. You are not aware of my history so it is way to vast to sit here and type it all up for you but I have clients that have allowed me to structure their marketing plan for a few years now. I carry an online conceirge service and I deal internationally, not only domestic. I handle clients in the adult entertainment industry but I also have clients in the mainstream industry...typically the comic and science fiction field also the fashion and apparel industries. I have a great deal of business with conventions, tradeshows and special event companies.
Just to give you a brief run down:)

I only concern myself with business and the price attached to that. Believe me when I tell you, the minute I hear anything that has nothing to do with my job....I am very dilligent at being hard of hearing:) Selective deafness is a gift my friend!
Donny, apart from what is going on here because you don't know him personally, is actually a very funny sweet person. I have known him a few years now when he first entered the industry. However...whatever it is that is causing these two people to go head to head is firstly, not of my doing so I have NO INTEREST IN IT WHAT SO EVER! Secondly, I only take phone calls and answer emails pertaining to the business I acquire on behalf of my clients...nothing more, nothing less.

These two men are grown men, they will see the end to this battle in a way that suits only them so I am not needed here:)
I hope that clears it up for you. Whether or not I am dealing with Donny has no bearing on the AMA and DL saga...as you can see I didn't start it, I am not here to finish it and I really don't have an interest in it.

This really doesn't need to be reitterated again. It has nothing to do with me. My clients don't care either. They care that I am doing my job and that should only be Donny's concern also. I am sure they will change it for them. It is difficult now because the timing of the show does mean everyone is busy with that. I will be there from tuesday as I am also at the AVN so I can only imagine how busy they are. To be honest...I don't care:) The sig isn't mine but it really is funny to see how many people are still confused even though I have posted here and his posts have a sig that say THIS IS NO LONGER CLEO.

Gulible teen your idea? Cant sue for an idea!! (unless it is patented) and at $500 an hour 35 hours minimum, highly unlikely..keep in mind, A "patent attorney" is a lawyer with an 5 year engineering degree.

Because you had a contract with joe in regards to what was going to be done with the Whole Gullible teens agreement?

Under that contract that you and joe entered into, you would have some sort of case. Under contract law you may be entitled to some kind of remedy.

BUT!!!!! as i recall you took a lump sum pay out of $2000 to go away and release your interests in said content. (Gullible teen content and idea rights). You signed a contract releasing your rights. REMEMBER! And that new contract supersedes any previous contract you may have entered into.


In short, there is no way you will go to court and hypothetically if you did it would get tossed out when joe produces the contract that you signed superseding your previous arrangement.




And lastly but the most importantly:

I AM THE GUY THAT SHOT IT!!!! I AM THE PRIMARY PRODUCER!!!

Its Joe's content. I agreed to shoot it and turn the content over to AMA joe. He paid the talent and the people that did it on trade got there content. I made sure of it. I wanted to get paid and i did.

I have been doing business with joe for 3+ years. I never had a bad expirence with him. Im sure he has made his share of mistakes, we all have. But there are 2 sides to every story and the people you quote are not exactly credible sources dude!! You and i both know it!




And for the agent thing its always a cluster fuck with most agencies! CLUSTER FUCK is the best description for day to day agency business. If your paying location fees at $100 an hour and your staking 4 shoots in a day, late girls add up fast!! LA Direct and Goldstarmodels garentee there girls show up on time. And if they no-show they pay the producer $200.

KEEP THINGS IN PROSPECTIVE WHEN YOU QUOTE PEOPLE OR HERE STATEMENTS. This is porn! People don't choose this! People generally end up hear because they failed everywhere else in life.
