You'd think all Christian leaders made all that up before they went on their

clear examples of this...without having to quote the bible literally

I've never debated any of that. Retarded fucks have always come into power and used religion to control.

You're still not providing that which you've stated existed though. A passage in Christianities doctrine morally allowing deception of those of another religion.

I didn't say and neither does the Koran....except for non believers of the
Islamic Prophecy. Christianity does the same....non believers burn eternaly
into the fires of hell.......

what I exactly meant which is that every religion has non peaceful verses

ok now I really have to get to work.....don't worry I'm not bailing out

I hate religion, its the tool for big and small leaders to get blind support from the religious sheep.
Religion is an evil disease, it's getting rammed into the brains of people since their birth by their own brainwashed parents, every single generation. It's the most powerful and sick form of propaganda without the people noticing it themselfs while they pass it on to their kids. They're blind and there is no argueing with them about doubting their religion.

ServerGenius 01-11-2008 11:02 AM

Ok here's one to show you I'm not bailing out due to lack of an example.

Consider Second Chronicles 20:24. The writer shows us a landscape strewn with corpses. From a watchtower in the wilderness we see, with Judah, that the inhabitants of Seir have been utterly destroyed. Thousands of dead bodies have fallen to the earth. None escaped. This is but one of myriad biblical events that fulfill the Psalmist's joyous hope of the day when his people's feet will be dipped in the blood of their enemies. Blood, as Zephaniah says, that will pour out like dust (Zeph. 1:17). Blood, as the Psalmist says, that the dogs will lap up (Ps. 68:23).

Thats a lot of death but my point was the world used to be a much more brutal and unforgiving place then it is today. If you think the war in Iraqi has been deadly for Iraqi civilians image what it would have been like 2,000 years ago. I dare say there would not be a single Iraqi male of fighting age left within their borders.

The 20th century was the most brutal and violent in history.

Wow didn't see that one coming. :winkwink:

From a total numbers of killed perspective you would be right of course but the population of the world is a tad bit larger today and the weaponry just a bit more sophisticated. Give the Romans the weaponry we have today and some ethnic groups wouldn't even exist.

Again , Iraq would probably be devoid of fighting age males and years ago would have been regulated to the history books if we were as brutal and violent as we were 200, 500 or 2,000 years ago.

As for a attending a history class in a Canadian school I have already been there and done that thanks. Last one was back in '95 or '96 @ Kwantlen college in Richmond, B.C. .

xroach 01-11-2008 12:11 PM

this one is pretty cool

http://services.alphaworks.ibm.com/m...ha6Q--aBZy6F2-

I really would love to have more comparable numbers given the increased population.. it's true all i can go by is number of human deaths, though it's still a valid statistic .. the rainiest day will involve more water

It's impossible to say what would have been, but there were lots of ethnic groups the romans could have wiped out but didn't and there was more than one attempt to wipe out ethnic groups in the 20th century (serbia, sudan etc)

We have civilized ourselves in a way for sure though, eg. violence is definitely less prevalent as entertainment

The Lancet report has been thouroughly debunked. It was nothing more than left-wing propaganda, funded by George Soros and released conveniently (and intentionally) just before the elections.

Here's a co-author of the report responding to speculations of inaccuracies

http://www.medialens.org/alerts/06/0..._co_author.php

Reality is that we'll never know 100% what the actual number is and it'll be years after the conflict before can get any decent number at all .. I suspect it's somewhere in between the official count and that purported by said report but weighted towards lancet number

If you consider what the video says about Islam -- that the teachings of the Koran have always been based in violence, then the "peaceful" Islamists are the ones who have bastardized the religion.

The Jihadists are the ones who are right...that said, we should nuke the site from orbit -- only way to be sure.

I dated a muslim for 2 years when i was much younger. I live in florida. Her parents beat her daily when she was a child. They tried to kill her for dating out of her race, and they beat her so bad once, she couldnt go to school, so when the school called to see why she was absent, they told the school she died in a car accident. She ran away and has never spoken with her family since. That is my experience with muslims.

Doesn't sound much different than a what a redneck Floridian child would go through.

I have friends I first met way back in Junior high who are Muslim and they and their families are nothing like that.

Blanket statements made on this board about the various religions in this world are about as moronic as the Christian rights attempts to label anyone who makes/sells porn as perverted child pornographers who should be thrown in jail. Nothing more then different sides of the same intolerant coin.

True but that said it can't hurt to inform yourself about anything from more
than a single angle......I think the documentary is interesting to say the
least yet.....you should take everything it claims to be facts :thumbsup

Who religion kills their own children cause they date outside the race? It's common for them to do shit like that. Just ask the 25 indians that work for me now in Delhi.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-12-2008 11:05 PM

I think Radical Islamic's all need to die.
The sooner the better.

Teaching children to be suicide bombers is fucking sick.
Taking advantage of the poor is fucking sick.
Cutting off the Clit's on women is sick.
Not allowing women to vote nor hold government jobs or political office is sick.
Having Women as second class citizens is sick.
Blowing up innocent civilians with suicide bombers is fucking sick.
Destroying religeous historical monuments and works of art is sick.

Fact is these people are sick and need to all be shot dead, and eradicated from exhistance.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-12-2008 11:18 PM

Radical Islam has no political aim other than to destabilise, interrupt, and intimidate people and governments.

Read what Strict Sheria Law is.
It's is essentially a system of corrupt theocracy, where people can be executed at anytime for nearly any reason.
It is the ultimate in "Thought Police" philosophy, there are no individual rights, there is no room for creative expression, there is no exception to who is the ruling power short of those that enforce there rule threw violence on not only the population but families as well.
It encourages assassinations, amputations, public executions without trial.

The list goes on and on.
Radical Islam's only aim is to again destabilise, intimidate and murder Kaffer's, Infidels and anyone else that object's to it's anarchistic reign.

Good examples of current and past Islamic Rulerships align with Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and many others. Some of you think Saudi Arabia are great buddies of the USA. Truth be known that in Saudi Arabia they rule by Theocracy that hides behind a king. The rule is no different than that of the Taliban except Saudi Arabia has a fortune in Oil but the rule is the same.

In Saudi Arabia they execute without trial, they imprison and torture without due process, they perform public executions and amputations. Women are 2nd class citizens.

Ask yourself how does one defeat this problem?
Solution is to remove this cancer of a philosophy from the earth.
It is the only way, you can not reprogram these people there conviction is truly for a god and nothing else matters in life or death to them.
