What's the logic? Take a Southerner as a VP to help fight for the South?

And this should be for all media sources? So for example, "Air America" should give equal time to all the Republican candidates?

#1 - "I think your #s are way off. Ive seen hundreads of people on the streets holding Ron Paul sign in Tampa Bay area alone and absolutly not one other candidates."

I shouldn't have to explain this...

#2 - I am not usually a betting man but for all those still delusional I'll give you 10:1 odds that Paul doesn't get the nomination.

The average of the polls conducted in the past week is 5% for Paul.

I was gonna say 4% as to these results:

But hey I don't want the Ron Paul drones to go nuts on me so vote Ron Paul 2008 he has almost as good a chance as Ross Perot, so looking forward to it.

No its more take a more conservative person onto the ticket. McCain is a bit wishy washy on some subjects republicans hold dear.

The path to the convention is twisty. For instance Iowa, no delegates were awarded at the caucus. That's because voters didn't directly choose national convention delegates; they selected the county and state delegates who will make that decision. And if another candidate like Huckabee is no longer in the race at the time of the state convention in June, his delegates are free to support whomever they want.

How about the poll vote in Nevada? What the media didn't tell you was that Nevada chooses more delegates to the national convention than South Carolina. And guess who did well there in Nevada? It was a laugh when they said Nevada didn't matter.

Yeah ok, righttttt... Ron Paul doesn't have a shot. lolololol

LOL ok so this twisty path does it include a secret tactic of getting last or near last all the time slowly but surely lulling his competition into not caring then finally killing all the other candidates to get the nomination?

Umm... 100's of crazies on the street corner in one city = all national polls are wrong about Paul. Good logic and use of statistics.

Paul has a small but fanatical following. That is the entire explanation. The marketing of "The Ron Paul Revolution" appeals to a minority demographic and no number of "World of Warcraft" marches or blimp sightings will change that.

Yes, Ron Paul was the only (I think) candidate to have hundreds of "people" march in World of Warcraft for him. That doesn't translate into major changes in voting.

A few months back I saw a small group of Ron Paul supporters at an intersection holding up Ron Paul signs. They were all between the ages of 18 and 24 and looked a lot like the line for the last "Lord of the Rings" line. The signed said "Ron Paul Revolution" with the "EVOL" backwards saying "LOVE". Now is that going to have a positive effect for Ron Paul on someone aged say 40-50? I don't think so. The elitist "We of high IQ support Ron Paul" thing isn't helping either.

Ron Paul doesn't have enough suits.

... meaning enough supporters in suits.

Typically IQ has very little to do with to many factors to even make it a valid insult and to top it off, insulting anyone and everyone by saying whomever does not support him is less intellegent. Maybe some of us like his ideas but feel he is overselling the farm even for a politician. Maybe some of us feel his powers could be better used elsewhere. Maybe some of us feel he should be bringing up more of these arguements in debates and the news challenging candidates to respond and when they dont calling them out again in the media for being pussies. Lastly many of us are concerned with his age, honestly he seems to have a foot and a half in the grave already. Then his usage of gothic style lettering does not help the fact much when the first thing that comes to my mind is ok who will his VP be cause this dude is going to die in the first 2 years of office.

Read my post again. I stated that I was joking about the higher IQ.

Mccain is most likely going to be our next president and hes older than dirt so that argument is moot.

Ron Paul Rules!

ADL Colin 02-07-2008 03:54 AM

The Ron Paul forums have just about died. Guess that is it.

I don't even think he had an effect on the "national dialogue" as some Paul supporters hoped. Bush sure didn't hear it. See his budget? Clinton and Obama promising to raise taxes on (at least) the wealthy. Pretty sure they'd each expand services. Not shrink them. McCain is talking of a 100 year war.

Government will continue to grow.

It amazes me that anybody thought Paul had a shot in hell of winning. He has some nice ideas, but anybody who thought America would listen as a whole is seriously delusional. :1orglaugh
