#1 - "I think your #s are way off. Ive seen hundreads of people on the streets holding Ron Paul sign in Tampa Bay area alone and absolutly not one other candidates." I shouldn't have to explain this... #2 - I am not usually a betting man but for all those still delusional I'll give you 10:1 odds that Paul doesn't get the nomination. |

Yes, Ron Paul was the only (I think) candidate to have hundreds of "people" march in World of Warcraft for him. That doesn't translate into major changes in voting. A few months back I saw a small group of Ron Paul supporters at an intersection holding up Ron Paul signs. They were all between the ages of 18 and 24 and looked a lot like the line for the last "Lord of the Rings" line. The signed said "Ron Paul Revolution" with the "EVOL" backwards saying "LOVE". Now is that going to have a positive effect for Ron Paul on someone aged say 40-50? I don't think so. The elitist "We of high IQ support Ron Paul" thing isn't helping either. Ron Paul doesn't have enough suits. ... meaning enough supporters in suits. |

OMG the above post and photo make my day....I am still laughing especially after visiting ronpaul2008.com what a ground breaking reform system of cutting taxes to the rich to stimulate the economy. Its GENIUS!

Mccain is most likely going to be our next president and hes older than dirt so that argument is moot. Quote:

Ron Paul Rules!

The Ron Paul forums have just about died. Guess that is it.
I don't even think he had an effect on the "national dialogue" as some Paul supporters hoped. Bush sure didn't hear it. See his budget? Clinton and Obama promising to raise taxes on (at least) the wealthy. Pretty sure they'd each expand services. Not shrink them. McCain is talking of a 100 year war. Government will continue to grow. |
