Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare - if Crysis didnt comeout this game will be the number 1 for the year 2007
Crysis! Top 1 for the year 2007 - But you must have a elite pc to run this game smoothyly! Need for Speed - ProStreet Thats the only game i wish I can play lol. To much work at hand, you know games can easily wreck you career. |

Orange Box has 5 games in one, although it's really 3. Half-Life 2 and it's add-ons are very fun FPSs. Portal is just a great time, and for online you have Team Fortress which is more playable than Counter Strike, IMO.
You get hours and hours of fun out of this, and you can get it online through Steam, so no bother with a trip to the store. I actually quite like Steam. http://www.steampowered.com If you liked Max Payne, Alan Wake looks like it'll be awesome.. it's the same people putting it out. Who knows when we'll see it though, and it's for Vista only. http://www.alanwake.com/ |
Used to actually be on a sponsored Counter Strike team haha. Played Starcraft, and DOTA as well. Not so much anymore though.

If you like Diablo/Neverwinter Nights type games, take a look at The Witcher.

Nobody's mentioned Silent Hill yet. Anyone played it? Reviews I've seen have been favorable.
Also, with regard to the Orange Box, the reviews of the games themselves are decent enough, but those doing the complaining say that the problem is that STEAM is tantamount to spyware and that it is annoying. Can anyone comment on that? |

You can fly fighters, bombers, drive tanks and do all sorts of stuff. The graphics are a bit weak looking compared to the typical new game, but it's because there are so many players online. This is two videos of me flying in game, just to give you an idea of the game play. The first is from a scheduled scenario that was somewhat historical accurate. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/u...es/117694.html The second is from the (MA) main arena's which are more of a big anything goes kinda set up. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/u...es/153822.html You can D/L game for free @ http://www.hitechcreations.com/frindex.html and play online 2 weeks for free. After that it's a monthly charge of $14.95. I'd suggest getting at least a cheap joystick piror to signing up. |
when the heck is spore coming out anyways?
|
also check out starcraft 2 coming soon.
and the mod to half life 2 that lets you use the portal gun in half life 2 SWEET! NosMo |

Also check out F E A R and Day of Defeat (this is an online multiplayer, but very easy and fun) |
BTW as far as Crysis goes, it is amazing, but... on my Dual core with a $500 Graphics card and 4 gigs of RAM I have to scale back the graphics a bit. Download the FREE demo and test it on your sytem before buying. The game is well worth it, but you will have to upgrade!

I know they're ancient now but I so loved all the Fallout games, even FO Tactics. I still fire up those games every now and again and trip down memory lane. |
AVOID WoW.
Get Counter-Strike Source.. Team Fortress 2.. |

I mostly stick to single player games. |
Dawn of war - Dark Crusade
I'm an avid video gamer. I'll admit I play mostly Everquest II, but I've played the Dawn of War games (Dawn of War, Dawn of War: Winter Assault and Dawn of War: Dark Crusade) over and over. They're very fun RTS based games. I think someone mentioned them already, so I'm just seconding the opinion.

Wish I had more time to game... but when I do, it's always PC. I haven't owned a console since I bought the original Nintendo box.
Finally played through KOTOR this last Winter Break... been meaning to do that forever now... also bought Orange Box, and a sleeve of other Star Wars games (some "best of" dealio including Empire at War, KOTOR, etc), and KOTOR 2. that I'm sure I'll find time to hit up at some point in the future... And all the while, there's the occasional game of Starcraft, or BF2. Should keep me busy until Spore and/or Starcraft 2. |

Good times. |
Call of Duty 4 - that's all you'll need for an FPS... about 100 times more hardware friendly than Crysis =p

Ah, Knights of the old republic, is that it? This is why I hate when people talk in abbreviated gamespeak, not everyone knows every nuance of all 20,000 + games out there. so, I take it "kotor" is worth getting? Old game or not, if it's good then I have no problem checking it out. As long as it will work with XP. First computer game I ever played (aside from Commander Keen :D ) was Duke Nukem 3D. It rocked. |
Shut up, Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4, are the best games on XBOX 360, forget PC games!!
