Let me comment on your "Islam is a success" as a religion/culture position, and "religion should not play a role":
Islam grows throughout the world because non-muslim countries take the muslims in. Meaning essentially that Islam either already "failed" in the region these muslims ran from, or the muslims are tired of being poor and they play the "feel sorry for me card", or a combination of this and the wish of extremist priests to spread Islam to the whole world.
The problem is that where ever islam goes, the "extremist element" follows along and is allowed to thrive; Most peaceful muslims, never seem to take a stance against the extremist muslims in their midst. The whole point is that in the event of conflict and fear among the muslims, they will seek to the "strong" extremist elements for help and protection, and then the bloodbath begins. I can't think of another religion/culture that succeeds by failing and then exporting itself. Eventually I fear that Islam will take over the world, by following this very simple formula => fail -> export -> breed fast -> fail -> export -> breed fast ->... The success you imply means oppression of OTHER RELIGIONS, ignorance, a swarm of death, fucked up attitude towards women, and no freedom! All in all a WORLD FAIL! |
