One thing that always strikes me in these things where a politician is exposed having, or arranging to have, sex with a person outside their marriage is...

Why does nobody even ask the wife if she knew about it?

For hours yesterday and today, people pontificate about "I feel so bad for his wife..." I'm just saying, the rumour mill say's he was into footjobs. Maybe his wife told him go find a hooker if you want that, because I dont like it. Point is, who the hell knows until they try to find out?

In this day and age, we seem to accept the notion that every married person only has sex when they want a baby, that they get naked in the dark, lay down in bed and pray for guidance on how to achieve this miracle. I mean wtf.

If he was spending $4 grand on a hooker, is that "better" or "worse" than having a mistress who he was secretly in love with? What if his wife knew about it and accepted it, perhaps even told him to leave her fucking feet alone and just pay for it? How can we sit here, knowing that sex is the animal instinct that it is, not the religious or emotional thing that we contrive for it, and pass any sort of moral judgment whatsoever on someone elses sexcapade without even asking the basics?

Someone on tv today said "He's ruined his childrens whole world forever". REALLY!!!???? Were they living in Fantasyland USA where reality has no place and gumdrops and lollipops grow from trees? Give me a break.

I'm not talking about legalities, just the moralities in play here can be baffling sometimes. We presume a lot and dont even explore why we presume it.

I love how psychologists dissect what happened. On CNN a psychologist was like "he did it because he wanted to be caught because of the inner guilt he felt about his hyprocritical life."

No, it's because he wanted poon and was sloppy about going to get it or thought he was above reproach. End of story.

We really do live in the Oprah generation, sadly.

Sources told CBS 2 that Republicans were literally popping open bottles of champagne in a festive celebration as if they'd just hit a shared ticket on the Mega Millions.

Ouch lol.
