in 97 I saw a link on a site that said webmasters click here to make money, the rest is history..

webmasters should write books, i think like 50% of them would start like that

i have no clue how it started, but im glad it did, ive never had a "9-5 job" and never will.

I started as a video editor for Canada's largest adult video distributor - realized the potential for makin' my own stash...and went from there.

What started out as a lifestyle hobby turned into a full-time gig.

I was in an aol private chat room and received a spam email from [email protected]. True story. Before that I thought alladvantage was the only way to make money on the internet.

I started in adult by mailing AOL collecting via Who's Chatting all day all night on a few computers. This was in 2001. Stopped mailing in 2003-2003 and have been doing things the right way ever since.

Surfing porn at Thumbzilla. Clicked the webmaster link and was reading about galleries. Starting making galleries. The became a reviewer at Zilla and started getting galleries at the top. Made some easy money back then.

97 ' started my own paysites w/o knowing a lot about the biz. Built some sites and blogs. Found some like minded people to hang out with at shows. They schooled me on the rules and how to get sites listed.

I went to a temp agency and they hooked me up with a company trying to make a 3D chat site around 1999/2000. I was hooked after that. It's all the cool models I get to hang out with that keeps me here. If I wasn't doing this I would be collecting money on some freeway off ramp and skating a lot. Never going back to corporate America... NEVER!

haha well in 1998 my mom got online and i spent a lot of time over there and got addicted to the net so I had a friend build my first PC for me.. I then got addicted to a message board called Ezboard where I ran a cool Star Wars ezboard and added a private area where we all posted porn.. flash forward to 2001 and i was posting at my ezboard and a few other porn ezboards and i invited a poster from one of the porn ezboards back to my little corner of the web. it was 2001 good ole dialer times, as a webmaster, don't care about the content, Adult or Mainstream, all mean is money making to me, i can build almost any kind of sites for love of computers and technology, i mean since i love computers i enjoy my job though.

when looking for porn I found Certifier AVS and bought a membership. Then I joined it as WM and found out it was easy to load 40 pics to an adult freehost, put some links and pics here and there on the Web and get good money for it. It pays the bills so far and still have some extra for little luxuries. Still waiting for the next porn "killer app" to arrive.
