They are both pieces of shit these days. Family guy was good for Seasons 1 and 2 and The Simpsons was good before they started computer animating them.

Simpsons for me, however history is on their side. I have about a dozen DVD's of Family Guy and they never fail to crack me up when in need of a cheering up.
