Actually I think the parents should do a couple of years. You raise kids to be animals you should be responsible.

I honestly don't give a shit if they got life. While I'd be happy for 10-20 years, locking idiots like that up is something I'd gladly pay my tax dollars for.

The girls easily could have killed her. They acted as a mob, falsely imprisoned her, assaulted her, then kidnapped and threatened her. If I lured a girl into my home, beat the shit out of her, wouldn't let her leave, then threw her in the back of my car, drove her somewhere and told her I'd beat her again if she told anyone, I'd be in jail for a really fucking long time. These girls should not be treated differently.

And for those saying it's too harsh, do you really want trash like this out there and reproducing? Seriously, this is the bottom of the barrell of society. We're going to pay for them one way or another (jail or welfare), so why not just keep them locked up where they can't reproduce? Harsh or not, I don't want idiots like that on the street.

Life has consequences. I think it is their flip attitude that will do them in if anything. If they were showing some remorse I am sure the outlook for them would be a lot better.

Well i dont know about the laws in usa. But kidnapping plus severe assault,,, multiple times on a "kidnapped" victim, and victim gets eyesight/hearing troubles afterword... "kidnapped and beaten unconscious, maybe get problems for life eye/hearing etc..." With a mean prosecutor they could get life for this..

But in reality it wasnt THAT bad as to get sentenced to life... cause it wasnt really kidnapping... it was a beating... 3 years should be enough and some big cash to the girl that got beaten.

If they had just beat the shit out of her, they'd have been better off. The minute they threw her in the car and threatened to beat her, it became a felony. Still, they're white high school kids, nothing will happen.

If they are tried as adults the parents may not be responsible financially. But I swear there is something fundamentally wrong with kids these days. I tend to go with the conspiracy theories that suggest it's the early childhood vaccinations that are making kids psychopaths or retarded.

Let me guess, you grew up in China or Columbia. I grew up in a very big city in the US and have been all over the country in my travels and never heard of a group of hoodlums kidnapping and brutally beating a minor. Happens on a daily basis? Ya right.
