I prefer light watered down domestics form the US.
|
america. although alot of people don't understand that answer because of the mainstream companies/beer like budwieser and miller or whatever. here in colorado we have the highest brewery per capita in the entire country, and i can safely say with all my heart there is some amazing beer here. im talking beer that competes with guiness. which is brewed in the same bar im getting it off the tap from. :)
|
Belgium, no thought, no question.
|
Belgium, i dont think i could live without a Hoe or a Duvell
|
Denmark: Carlsberg or Tuborg but they have many micro brews as well..
second would be Ireland, dont care much for kraut bier.. |
Don't get me wrong, there are some great choice's made in this thread.
Belgium, German, Australia, Ireland etc... From the hundreds of U.S. micro-brews, I can have a differant Great beer each an every day of the year. That's why I choose the U.S.A. There was a club I used to go to several years ago, they had hundreds of beers to choose from. Thats when I started appreciate the micro-brews that the U.S. had to offer. |
Denmark... :)
|
Either Canada or Belgium, Germany is obv up there too.

czech rep for sure :thumbsup
|
Danish beer rocks :pimp
|
i just had a couple of really nice czech Pilsener Urquell - would be hard to give that up - lol
and germany has like 1300 breweries with i don't know how many different types of beer - that makes probably 10 years a different beer each day - lol but i understand that when you grow up with a certain taste its hard to change |
It's all about the Germany !
|
probably germany...
|
The UK i love abbot ale.

Belgium for me. Germany would be 2nd. And Canada 3rd.

Germany! Specifically Bavarian beer... some of the best Doppelbocks in the world! Also home of my favorite, Spaten Optimator.
PS: I rate beers for RateBeer |
I like Italian beer
|
HANDS DOWN!!!!!
BELGIUM NO DOUBT ABOUT IT I sold beer for 5 years, many countries, many imports, and belgium by far impressed me most. Chimay and Corsendonk are a few of my favorites. |

But I have to pick Germany. Partially because I'm a Kraut. My favorite beer comes from a small brewery I used to live 10 minutes away from in Germany. I also love Franziskaner Dunkel. Belgium is definitely 2nd on the list and I'm not even going to bother ranking anything other than that. |
Poland's "Tyskie", hands down.
|
Asahi, Kirin, and Sapporo hired the best German and Belgian brewmasters. If you haven't tried some of the more unusual Japanese beers, you are missing a treat.

But I'd have to pick Ireland and Guiness Stout... |

I have this on going argument with my old roommate about the high quality piss he drinks that he refers to as American beer. I'd go Stella, which I think hails from Italy. And then maybe down to mexico. 1. Stella 2. Negra Modelo 3. Pacifico. maybe even Mexico first. It just takes me to a happy place.....poolside......sunshine..... shitfaced. |
Argentina (EDIT: Especially the province of Mendoza) has great micro breweries... I'd stick to them.

The United States.
Can get just about any variety of beer, in the world, here via microbrews. Also, selecting a different country would mean I'd have to move there to continue to appreciate my own homebrew. :-) If you're looking for styles of beer, though... I'd have to say Belgium, hands down.... while hoping for an occasional import brew from Germany or the Czech Republic. |

A lot of my family is from St Louis and I still live in Missouri, but I can't say I'm a huge Busch fan.
The last couple days I've been enjoying some Schlafly's, though. And we have a microbrewery downtown that makes some pretty tasty stuff. I cringe when we go for dinner and I see someone ordering a bottle of Bud Light instead of the house beer that was brewed 20 feet away. |
USA - The proud home of Miller Lite.
