I have this on going argument with my old roommate about the high quality piss he drinks that he refers to as American beer. I'd go Stella, which I think hails from Italy. And then maybe down to mexico. 1. Stella 2. Negra Modelo 3. Pacifico. maybe even Mexico first. It just takes me to a happy place.....poolside......sunshine..... shitfaced. |
Argentina (EDIT: Especially the province of Mendoza) has great micro breweries... I'd stick to them.

The United States.
Can get just about any variety of beer, in the world, here via microbrews. Also, selecting a different country would mean I'd have to move there to continue to appreciate my own homebrew. :-) If you're looking for styles of beer, though... I'd have to say Belgium, hands down.... while hoping for an occasional import brew from Germany or the Czech Republic. |

A lot of my family is from St Louis and I still live in Missouri, but I can't say I'm a huge Busch fan.
The last couple days I've been enjoying some Schlafly's, though. And we have a microbrewery downtown that makes some pretty tasty stuff. I cringe when we go for dinner and I see someone ordering a bottle of Bud Light instead of the house beer that was brewed 20 feet away. |
USA - The proud home of Miller Lite.

............. You know we have some really good microbrews here right? :pimp |
Frankly, Stella Artois is taken as one of those worse widespread consume beers in the high developed beer countries such as Germany or Czech Rep..
Depends on the taste you are used to, I can drink pretty much most of the beers, yet it's still the Bavarian or Austrian beer that is somehow close to the local taste I like. I would actually doubt many of those who answered are even familiar with the Pilsener type of beer, it takes a lot of traveling and lot of serious bar time to get a global beer knowledge. |
Denmark = Carlsberg
Case closed. |
