Pokerstars takes eChecks from US players for those interested and full tilt you can buy a prepaid phone card with the epass visa. |

Epass should be congratulated for making a wise business decision which protects their interests and the interests of a majority of their customers. :thumbsup

"Yeah I know I said Epass fucked over people again, and I know I was wrong, but I just wanted to make some quick cash so I guess it's alright I said that in the first place". You....are...a fucking moron. |
they wanted a part of the pie in the gambling market they never had, they got it but heat and issues were more than worth it for their current setup and now they exit. nothing more or less to say.
|
This is definitely good news. I still wish ePassporte had some kind of (serious) competition though. Would be better for all of us...
|
You can load your account with http://www.ultraprepaid.com/ and withdraw your winnings via a check from Full Tilt.. End of thread. :)

Makes 6 figures a month, but needs to make some quick cash on a poker site. |
move to a country with proper laws :)
don't blame it on epass |
I haven't had any problems loading my Ultimate Bet account from my cc. They have had a nice workaround in place for the last six months. My deposit shows up on my cc as some home and gardening store and its never for the exact amount I deposit, meaning if I put in $500 it shows up as $498.75 so as not to seem suspicious by the credit card companies.

I'm not a big baller and poker is just a hobby, but it's good for a few k extra in my pocket monthly. :2 cents: |

Well it's kind a stupid move from epass beacuse of stupid usa laws now suffers all.If moneybookers can still block usa people and function normaly then epassporte should too.
|
Sadly the reason that it is illegal in the US, is because of so many people cheating, and no way to verify the age of the player.
that and uncle sam was not getting his cut. |

They quit the gambling business because they absolutely had to. There is no way they would have done it unless they had no other choice. A high ranking US official probably gave them a phone call and said "You see what we did to Neteller"? "Either shut it down or we will freeze your accounts" The US government froze all US account through Neteller and that company wasnt even in the USA. No reason to think they couldn't have done the same thing to Epassporte. |

Not to mention violate visa regulations? WG |

Cheating isn't such a big issue with online poker. There have been some scandals but all have occurred in the high limits games. Most of the mid level, low level games are pretty safe. Ironically, there would be a lot less cheating and corruption if it could be taxed and regulated. The laws put in place to stop online poker are not doing anything to stop it. The poker sites and players are just coming up with new ways to fund their accounts when one goes down. |
Quote:
Yes. You could easily play on any poker site and chargeback if you wanted to. The reason being is that funding the account is illegal for US citizens. The poker sites take huge hits with the chargebacks from the USA but the profits involved are so massive they can afford to. Bodog, Full tilt, Ultimate Bet and others setup merchant account to bill you under so it goes under the radar and not detected as "gaming related" You will be billed under something like LTY Electronics, etc |
Fuck Full Tilt Poker. Im glad Epass doesnt support them.
And fuck both this newbie fuck and 12clicks. I would lose more in a month to Full Tilt than both this newbie fuck and 12 clicks would make in a year. And thats a fact jack. So fuck everyone. Fuck you all. AND FUCK FULL TILT POKER. Thank you epassporte. |
I dont think its that easy to charge back gambling debts is it?
How much time do I have, or would one have to do so? This sounds like a good Anal Hobbit tip. |

Cool guy. How about just wiring funds to put in your poker account since you are such a mega baller? and LOL @ bragging about how much you lose on Full Tilt Poker monthly |
Quote:
Im done with that shit.. Fuck em. And fuck you! |
Nahh. I didnt really lose all that much on Full Tilt, but that shit was horrible. Im just bitter. It was addicitive, time consuming and expensive. It was a horrible habbit. Id say I lost around 10k or so there. But it wasnt the money, it was the time.
Just worthless. Epassporte or no epassporte I was done with em. But on a serious note this is good news to hear from epassporte. I was always concerned with why they were the only ones still risking it dealing with fulltilt. This is good news. Not bad news. |

Ya, it is simple to chargeback gambling debts. It cant be a valid charge when the charge is illegal in the first place. I know people that work for bodog and this is one of the biggest problems they have with the USA customers. IE, USA player signs up, play 500 bucks and loses it, calls credit card company and says i dont know what this shit is. Bodog cant dispute it because what they are doing is illegal. They just have to eat it everytime for US players |

So I can call up Bank Of America right now, and tell them to charge back the 50k in sports gambling I did on the card back in January? |

So, uhhh, how do I do this? Just call up B of A and say I want to charge back the 50k i spent in January on my gambling? I mean It doenst sound too easy. |
Quote:
I am not promoting charging back if it was legit even though you could either way. But if you feel something was rigged, cheaters took your money, etc.. Just added you to ICQ, i am in NW btw |
