I still have insurance on the car even, but parked insurance, so if it gets stolen from the spot, or someone hits it, etc. Life insurance too for me and my family.

It has something to do with to many cars on the road. Not sure on the specifics, it still has to be voted on. They said it will either be a 9 cent tax at the pump or a larger lump sum tax on registration.
