I'm just curious as to what kind of "answer" you would like nasty dollars to provide? What is your implication?

I work with lots of people who's traffic, for whatever reason, starts to suck. We try and tweak it.. maybe try some new / different sites, weed out some poor performers.. but ultimately.. if the ratios don't improve, then most times they will go and try someone else for a while til we have something new.

It would be nice if everyone converted 1:1000 or 1:750 everyday from now til the end of time - but it's not going to happen. Your conversion ratio is unique to your traffic stream.. and if it stops performing with a site / sponsor program /etc - you just have to make the decision that's best for your business.

Thing is, if you're only promoting one sponsor off one website, or in general, if you're only sending the traffic stream to one single place, there's nothing you can know for sure.

They could be converting 1:10, and still be skimming you 80&#37;. They could be converting 1:100,000, and not skim you at all.

The solution is to always send traffic to at the very least two similar sponsors off any site, and in a known proportion. Then you can compare their results, and then you can look at their funels, see if they leak traffic, if the pages just suck, etc.

Often you'll find no leaks and nice professional funels and maybe even be 100% certain they're not shaving and yet, toilet results. It happens.

Try sending the traffic to other sponsors see what happens. Couldn't be worse then what you are doing now.

I can understand your frustration because my stats are quite the same with all sponsors. From 800 per month to 70 at Bang bross and from 700 to 70 at Nasty in about 16 months it is pretty obvious of what trend will follow.
Overall conversion is in sponsors yard and traffic belong to webmasters. Words like oversaturated, overexposed, overadvertised and so on are still on sponsors yard and it's their job to make a site to convert almost the same all the time. Having so low conversions on my own TGPs I start working with ppc programs and makes me quite the same. I sent all new sponsors to buy ppc add place. So far they didn't cause there are a lot like you who send traffic like hell.
With ppc u can have around 1-2c per click so whatever makes u less then that u should look into this.

Focus on obtaining more sources of traffic. You are sending 120 to 140 hits a day. That is not a lot of hits. Things even out a lot when you are sending 400 to 500.. They get almost flat lined at 1500-2000 hits... And you can start selling prejoins at 10,000 hits because there will be no monthly fluctuation.

The bottom line is that your hits are not enough to give you a good picture.
That sums it up. I find that ND stats vary over time, I know that when they get out of whack, the statistical gods will come along and make everything right again :thumbsup

Have to agree that these days, just a couple hundred visitors a day doesn't cut it.

Curious, did you try emailing ND before the trash on a public board? They are big enough to take a bad comment once in awhile, but still. ND has been sending those checks for a long time, it would take a lot to chase me away.
