If Apple made an iPod that cost 20 bucks but was always broken, lost data, and stopped playing in the middle of songs, the damage done to the brand would outweigh the justification that "it only cost 20 bucks."
Don't lower your standards to meet someone's budget. |
I think the best business move would be to refund the money and chalk it up to poor communication.
I've found that when you give someone a huge discount in business, they take you for granted and walk all over you. It's in the same rulebook as the "don't do business with friends" rule I think, heh. A refund is a good business move because it shows all future customers that you are willing to make things right, even if it costs you. And while you are worried that suddenly everyone will expect a cheap ride from you, you have to remember that you are the one that sets the price. You simply refuse to do work at that rate again, and it won't happen again. |

This is is done and over with and has been for a bit.. The client and I have resolved the issue.. I will start a new good old fashion drama thread again soon.. But this one os old and not worth bumping again.. Anyone that post after this is to be considered a drive by poster, sig whore or straight up bot.. :1orglaugh |
I can't believe that you started a thread over $100 in the first place.
If you had paid the guy back his $100 halfway through his bullshit & said fuck it...there would be no need for this thread at all. consider me what you want btw ; ) |
