I don't give cash for a wedding but things that may help them for their married life.

Find out where they are having the reception and ask how much it cost per guest.

Then add a little more on top.

Usually around $100 if they want cash or what ever is left on the registry if they want a gift. I've given more at times but 100 is about average.
