What keywords do surfers use for cams?

Webcams
Videochat
Chat with Naked Girl?
Site names (ex: awe, cams.com etc...)

I'm just wondering if our lingo is different from theirs ...

What do you think of promoting cams? Do they work/make $$$?

Saturated forget about it.... and all these fuckin white labels going up the arse.... specially streamate, they probably own half the searches on google for cams with all their freaken white labels.

my :2 cents: now go fuck yourselves...

Lots of different keywords today, but not all convert well, since alot of mainstream traffic gets in the mix.

If the slang/lingo follows the evolution of "phone sex", then it will end with being called "cam sex". Not alot of people ever associated phone sex with "phones", "live phones", "phone talk" etc.

In lots of germanic languages "cam sex" is getting more and more active - at least that what our logs show at camsex.com :thumbsup

I have never been pushing cam traffic but I left a banner with Cams.com on some site..which has general porn traffic.

It's abit annoying however with the low %...:disgust

It all depends on your type of traffic. Generally, if you have quality targeted cams traffic, you'll do very well. It's all about having the right traffic and sending it to the right cam site/s.

Yes, cams still convert:)
That;s a pity i didn't start to work with them earlier.
But yes, it greatly depends on traffic.

Our cam site is about a year old and its amazing what people pay to chat with live girls. People can get all the free videos online they want, but nobody can ever steal a live show.

Yes, there is a lot of money in Cams.

The first thing I did in porn was promoting webcams. Got started with Cams.com and it turned out great for me. Made my first site on a free domain with few visitors and before I knew it I had made some 400 bucks. Spent money on a domain and webspace and suddenly I had a pretty steady moneyflow, and I still do. Even though I've moved on to paysites, cams is still a nice side income for me:) And Cams.com is by far my favorite sponsor. They have made me a nice sum of money over the last few years:) A great many thanks to them:D

The question you should be asking is not how well they convert, but what the income is per conversion.

For those coming from a traditional pay site background it's a different way of thinking: With revshare cam programs you have the potential of earning 20%+ of thousands that a member spends. Some 'joins' will net you peanuts, others can literally earn you thousands over time. So while the conversion rate vs. pay sites can be lower, the potential income is dramatically higher.

Take example 1: New join at a cam site spends $500 (impulse buy on a girl he really likes) then proceeds to return periodically, say twice a month - $100 one time, $50 the next and so on. If he sticks around for 6 months you could be looking at $1200-$1500 / 20% = up to $300 for one member. How many rebills on a pay site would you need to get that?

I've personally had members stick around for years and made several thousand from each.

So if you're thinking of making a switch, re-think your ways of determining success: With cams it's all about the big fish you'll land and not the conversion rate.
