Ok.. The hiphop IQ here is pretty bad when Rakim and Kool G Rap don't make people's lists, in favour of artists like Run DMC, LL Cool J and Lil Wayne.

Ask any rapper their top 5, and Rakim and Kool G will be mentioned invariably.

Styles P is making a run lately too, dude has dropped a ton of tracks, he's a great lyricist.

pac is kinda overrated... i like some of his albums but he aint my favourite... as for best, i dont know, it all depends on what you like personally: The hippie rap of common, hardcore rap, or rappers that use complex words just because they're complex.

The Lox has good songs but they cant talk about any but violence. That shit gets sickening and is very one dimensional.
