I'm so over the debate I don't know what to think.
Never has there been an election like this and it's come at a time when our country is in such bad shape. It's going to be a monumental task for whomever takes the Presidency. Each of the major candidates has their good and bad points. All you can do is vote for the candidate that you think would do the most good for our country both domestically and internationally. I tend to lean toward Obama. I hate to hear about him being so different off-camera. I hope that is not his true character. But you don't get where he is by not having an edge. He's a young, inexperienced, black man with a real shot at this. I keep thinking how the world might react if he became our leader. And I think it would be a positive message. He would also have to be aware of precedent should he win. That's an enormous amount of pressure to do well. http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...6aed318c_o.jpg |

Maybe for those who have no money, it's easy to support people who want to tax people who have money, but I want less taxes. Neither party is going to do shit about our profession and you can see california already trying to tax it as proof. |
Yunno, I like Baddog. But in this case I have to say you are too steeped in the way the world was to understand the way it's about to go.
Sure, there's plenty of rednecks that will not vote for Obama, but there's an awful lot of people that are going to make it a personal mission to get him into office. I don't think you've even begun to see the amount of rallying that's going to be around this guy. |
2008 is going to be the year of the First Black President or the First Female President!

All three want to screw with taxes, want something from the business man, have some type of health care reform idea, some idea about how to help the poor, different solutions to war/terrorism, and all three want amenity for illegals with still no public plans about the on going problem. Only thing that stands out for me at this point is what McCain has said about the Internet. And Cali passing this law against us is just another example of taxes increasing, under the power of a republicans. Not really a strong argument for the cause. |
