she was an obama supporter, but after this incident she was totally turned off and amazed at how phony someone can be in the public eye and be such an asshole in private.

this was in the beginning of the campaign.. after hearing this i have been scrutinizing him ever since.

he is a total fraud in my opinion. he is herding the sheep and has too many unknowns about him..

i do not think things are that bad right now. i do not trust obama and his vision for america... i would rather see mccain run for 1 term and have a strong vp who will run in 2012.

i am a strong opposer to rewarding failure as the democratic party is in favor of. i do not want a raise in my taxes to pay for the degenerates of society.

oh boy, thats not good. i don't like arrogant pricks.

at least the guy can spell and doesn't sound like a monkey taught to speak though.

How can you expect a President to change anything when they will have no fucking clue how to change a fucking thing? It's a funny paradox really, and why Americans would choose a complete neophyte for the Democratic Ticket is beyond me.

Hillary has alot of xperience and the contacts to make things happen with her experience alone. Obama just bought his Candidacy thats what it comes down to. You goto commend Hillary as she was outspent in this campaign almost 3 to 1.

I swear to god I will be voting for McCain in the elections, I am not just syaing that I am literally terrified of guys that run around screaming for change the same way Bush did and to do it with even less experience than Bush had? Fuck that.

McCaine is going to be the next President count on it.

Now I know why your dumb ass went out of business. You are a REAL retard

go to YOUTUBE and see 20 other speeches that end the same way, then will you vote for him??? No... so why post in EVERY Obama thread?

robfantasy 05-22-2008 03:35 PM

you know a good way to look at it is like this...

look at your business.. say you had to go out of town for a month, would you let some new kid who who you have never heard of, who shows up to your front door and talks all hype and bullshit and tells you how much money he is going to make you while you are gone even though he has never had any business experience at all, but has "all these great ideas"...

or would you leave your business in the hands of someone who knows your business, has been involved in the industry, has years of wisdom and has seen your business from all angles.

i would rest easier at night with the later.

if i didnt give a fuck and wanted to give a new kid a shot because i have enough money and it wouldnt really matter if my business was run to the ground or not, i would go with the new kid.

but do we want to take that risk on the future of our country?

i think not.

go with mccain and hope a better candidate pops up for 2012.

And at some levels it's true, however they didn't target colored people - they targeted all poor - and anyone lower class in income than themselves.

I don't think McCain will be the next president. This country, the people, do not want anymore Iraq war or any more war, period. Even the deep south, Texas boys are saying no more war. The more he stays on the war path, the less votes he will get. His votes will come from hardcore conservative republicans, and people who will not vote black/woman - a minority of people all around.

The people, dem or rep, have had enough. Millions know the election was stolen and I don't think that mistake will be made again. Between the black vote and the people ready for any type of change, including the war - the republican party can just close up shop.

this may be true but he is black and white.

Or are you saying in History, new Presidents didn't pull out of wars? Which isn't the case. So I'm confused on what history I should check.

the reason behind me isolating to two is that the american sheeple will vote for the top two. has there ever been someone who wasnt a front runner that actually surprised the shit out of everyone and won? off the top of my head i don't recall. i'm well aware of the other candidates in the running, i just don't realistically see any of them winning. i got this gut feeling that he's gonna be the next president.

:)

Obama and McCain were not front runners 1 year ago. Even six months ago. :2 cents:

What if you the experienced guy (older guy) was going to try and destroy your business once you left (or he got in power)... he even tells you this straight to your face.

Do you now take your chances with a guy that might not know everything, but has advisor's to help? Or the guy that you know for damn sure crush you when he gets in power?

Not sure myself - hard choice to make.

easy choice for me. I totally agree with your analogy as well. The US is the worlds largest running biz and the Americans have been choosing bums to run it for all the wrong reasons for WAY to long. I hope the dumb rednecks and evangelicals dont control the decision once again this time around.

Rand 05-22-2008 04:57 PM

I'm so over the debate I don't know what to think.

Never has there been an election like this and it's come at a time when our country is in such bad shape. It's going to be a monumental task for whomever takes the Presidency. Each of the major candidates has their good and bad points. All you can do is vote for the candidate that you think would do the most good for our country both domestically and internationally.

I tend to lean toward Obama. I hate to hear about him being so different off-camera. I hope that is not his true character. But you don't get where he is by not having an edge. He's a young, inexperienced, black man with a real shot at this. I keep thinking how the world might react if he became our leader. And I think it would be a positive message.

He would also have to be aware of precedent should he win. That's an enormous amount of pressure to do well.

What if the younger man wants to tax the shit out of you cause you actually make a good living. I dont want to pay for healthcare for people who can't afford it. I can afford it and I pay for it now. I also don't want more programs to help people who dont want to work.

Maybe for those who have no money, it's easy to support people who want to tax people who have money, but I want less taxes. Neither party is going to do shit about our profession and you can see california already trying to tax it as proof.

Pornwolf 05-22-2008 08:25 PM

Yunno, I like Baddog. But in this case I have to say you are too steeped in the way the world was to understand the way it's about to go.

Sure, there's plenty of rednecks that will not vote for Obama, but there's an awful lot of people that are going to make it a personal mission to get him into office. I don't think you've even begun to see the amount of rallying that's going to be around this guy.

These redneck have no idea the FLOOD of people that will vote for OBAMA..and i mean MASSIVE get togethers, just to VOTEall the polls are from older people with a home phone..most young people ( most people in general have cellphones..which are NOT polled) The REAL numbers for OBAMA haven't even been seen yet

Yeah, damn. That is going to be hard to justify on the world stage. If we elect him we look worse than we ever could internationally because they can now say for sure that America is as bad as they feared we are.

All presidents have raised taxes.. they all lie about it.

All three want to screw with taxes, want something from the business man, have some type of health care reform idea, some idea about how to help the poor, different solutions to war/terrorism, and all three want amenity for illegals with still no public plans about the on going problem.

Only thing that stands out for me at this point is what McCain has said about the Internet.

And Cali passing this law against us is just another example of taxes increasing, under the power of a republicans. Not really a strong argument for the cause.

We pretty much have troops placed in any country that will have them for strategic reasons as well.

I made the comment, and it was in reference to pulling the troops out of 'war' after the president change. Which means, the president 'ended' a war - and has nothing to do if we still occupy the area. War is over - that's what the people want - that's what I stated.

You are twisting what I'm saying to come up with your own version of, something.

I know exactly what conflicts we have had with Cuba. I also know we didn't 'force-occupy' Cuba some 100+ years ago when the base was setup. Now in current day we may occupy the region, but that isn't because of a previous war.
