Rambo is awesome. I'd say it is the second best out of the entire series, with only the first one being better.

CaptainHowdy 05-22-2008 08:54 PM

I refuse to think there is one bad Indiana Jones movie...

Did you fart real bad or what?

Anthony 05-22-2008 09:51 PM

I have to admit, I gave the orig poster shit about this movie. Well, I saw it tonight.
I fell asleep around the part when they got to Peru, and woke up when what's her name admitted the kids was Indy's.
Just didn't do it for me. Sorry.

Birdman33 05-24-2008 08:43 PM

Worst movie I told u guys =)

dav3 05-24-2008 09:13 PM

Damn dude, I gave you a little shit about it also. I was really hoping this movie was gonna be the one movie that actually didn't blow. I mean, I love the Indy series... fuck... I even like stuff about aliens and shit. Bleh...

They went way over the top with the special effects. In the first three movies, they just sort of accented the movie with the effects. In this one, they abused the bejeebus out of them.

this is ALL that needs to be said, it was made to be like the acting and stories from the early 80's action movies. It was simply not meant to be a movie completely rock solid in every way like Iron man. It was more of a salute to the way things USED to be and I went into it knowing that and so of course I had a good time.

Cheesy one-liners were delivered very well. Over the top action of course was expected.

I however HATED the CG work and thought it would have been better. the sword fight between the 2 moving vehicles showed whoever did the CG wasn't the same who did star wars...

will still check it :thumbsup

tranza 05-26-2008 04:02 PM

I agree with you, I really didn't like this film...

Richard Dawkins 05-26-2008 04:15 PM

In order to enjoy this movie one's intellect must have had to evolve above the intelligence of the average dung beetle. Alas, young Birdman still is in possession of a bird BRAIN.

For those of us who have enough brain capacity to "get it", this movie delivers.

Absolutely not!

In childhood our credulity serves us well. It helps us to pack, with extraordinary rapidity, our skulls full of the wisdom of our parents and our ancestors. But if we don't grow out of it in the fullness of time, our nature makes us a sitting target for astrologers, mediums, gurus, evangelists, and quacks. We need to replace the automatic credulity of childhood with the constructive skepticism of adult science.

This latest release in the Indiana Jones series delivers reliable science!

Reliable science? Are we talking about the same new Indy movie? :error

1. Indy blew that dart the wrong way into that tribal dude's throat. Blow darts are only pointed on one end.

2. They blew up that trailblazing machine with an RPG, yet there was still a 10 minute chase through the woods without the thing cutting a trail.

3. The crystal skull was only 'magnetized' when the camera focused on it.

There's not even reliable logic, let alone reliable science. :1orglaugh

bronco67 05-26-2008 08:33 PM

They mailed it in. It sucked ass.

This is coming from someone who saw Raiders in theaters when it first came out. There is nothing in Crystal Skull to match the truck chase, the bar fight in Nepal, the fist fight with the big Nazi on the airstrip, the snake tomb..oh man there's so many good scenes in Raiders. Any one of those scenes is more in the spirit of "indy jones" than the whole fucking abomination called the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Don't even get me started on the refrigerator scene.

Birdman33 05-26-2008 08:40 PM

You're retarded

Notice your the only one that likes this piece of shit movie. Get out more often

J. Falcon 05-26-2008 08:44 PM

Wow, on the first page of this thread anyone who said this movie wasn't good got bashed. Now it turns out a lot of people think it sucks. What the fuck did you expect people? Leave the past in the past. Maybe if we stop consuming endless amounts of remakes, sequels, spinoffs and ripoffs, the movie industry might actually be forced to produce more original and thought-provocing material.

Birdman33 05-29-2008 04:12 PM

Haha told u it sucked worst movie ever. Dont know which was the worst part the blowing the dart the wrong way. When the car jumped into a tree or the fridge scene with the nuke. So dam cheezy I cant believe it got good reviews

SomeCreep 05-29-2008 06:26 PM

I rate it a 7 out of 10.
