Ill try to get the motie text

So the government will set up the following soon;
-2257
-chase gambling on the net (and sue dutch people doing it or linking to)
-chase movies on internet they would like not to see (like the fitna movie)
-online survaillances by police (big brother is watching you)
-personal and financial details of surfers stored...(big brother stores all your shit)
-attack cybercrimes (this I can understand)

Those that can't or don't comply go. A lot of them will be people loading the Internet with free porn, often stolen. Not a single surfer is lost. Ye I understand about people moving, but if more countries followed this law it would be great.

The one problem that screws most of us is the ease of putting up porn.

Any program owner that lost age docs deserves to be put out of business. I don't care if they had a 2257 law in their country or not. That stuff needs to be locked up and treated like gold.
You have no idea how many lose the documents, or delete them more like it. I get a request a week for replacements. Got one today. ;)

good - theres a whole lotta shit on dutch servers and Im glad this law is effective July 1st. I know some will move but at least its not on our servers anymore and Ive already seen amat content sites who posted concerns. Closing down would be nice. I still cannot believe how much "sites" process with newsgroup content and get away with it.

Well not here anymore.

Quit acting like you care. You look like a newsgroup creepster

Kudles 05-30-2008 09:44 AM

Them Dutch are sneeky

Rochard 05-30-2008 09:49 AM

If you take this business serious in any way shape or form you have 2257 and model releases. It's not really about the age of the model, but ownership of the content.

Konda 05-30-2008 10:20 AM

I have nothing against this, we have the documents for all content that we have, but what about an affiliate that uses sponsor content on his site? Does he need documentation as well or can he just say, I got this from sponsor X, so go there if you want the release/ID?

iseeyou 05-30-2008 10:56 AM

This is not 2257. 2257 is USA law. This is a new Netherland law. It amazes me how some people here already know they are in compliance. Please post a link to this new law since some people seem to have already read it and already comply.

timoxxl2 06-10-2008 08:15 AM

does this law already exist?

pornguy 06-10-2008 08:22 AM

Any news on how they plan to enforce it? Just arrest people that dont have the right paper work, or are they going to work with them on it to make sure it is being done right.

Just another new law to eliminate porn from the internet. This has nothing to do with fighting cp or whatever other shit they come up with. They just want you make it impossible for you to run adult sites.
