My guess would be that this thread was printed out and stuck under one of the blades.

I had my car stolen early last year. Police found it 2 weeks later, all rammed out and shit, but in general working order, except the fuckers stole the wipe blades. I was like you, cos the car was full of sand (inside and out) - went to clean the windshield and was like wtf????

New car now, and kick ass new blades - these bendy rubber things that cost like 80euro/blade. Luckily enough, it's not possible to steal them without popping the hood, cos the wiper arm goes under the hood. Mine's now a boring Peugeot 307 estate for family purposes.

At least they didn't steal your car. :)

The only thing I could guess was that they got a flat and couldn't afford a new tire so they just found a car like theirs and jacked the wheel and all. Really sucked because I was working a double shift that day and had just come home for a bite of dinner before heading back for the night. Needless to say I was a little late to work.

Actually your pretty lucky if they just siphon the gas. People one street over were hit and they drilled the damn tanks to drain them. To bad gas is not more flamable.
