Your getting the point? We arent talking about tables, we talk about the delievered product. When you recieve something, you expect to recieve what you orderd and sure you say ill pay for it. When you review the product and see that the backend is completly crap and how the whole work process went through, you woudnt pay a nickle either.
I gave him the job because he promised a 24 hour turnarround in first case. Then the typicall designer bullshit started.. oh sorry i run out of energy. Iam in another city right now blablabla...
On top of that, most people arguing here or flaming him, have seen the product he delievered. So its definatly about burning someone down because there was a chance to do it.
And just fyi.. we are talking beer money here. No big dime..

When i read it, I got that you had reviewed the work, made changes, accepted it, and then changed your mind, if that's not the case my bad. I was mainly pissed off because i saw a few other coders jumping this guy about his english and everything else, and it pisses me off when they are willin to jump on someone else just to make themselves look better, their work should speak for itself.
Of course you should only pay for what you wanted / were promised. I've done a few small things for this guy and he's hard to understand occasionally (anyone who's english isn't their first language is), but he's always been more then fair, and i've personally sat there and rewrote stuff for him so his clients would be happy so i know he tries to give people what they want / pay for.
Anyways, not my drama, i just spoke up cuz the posturing / attacking the coders & designers do on this board pisses me off and it just seemed like everyone was gangbangin this guy when it's between you two. |
