Yea I did have high ranking, I don't know what happen, I didn't get any penaly. I been out of google for 2months now. Foruntly sales wise, it hasn't gone down much.

There are two types of SEO service:

Type 1: Wannabes, either pay upfront or based on results. You are not going to get results.

Type 2: Pay based on results. They get you to where you want. After payment received they contact your competitors and make an offer to take your site down.

Your telling me $15,000 is worth it for a keyword that only gets searched 2500 perday?
and they guy said the amount it will be on the first page depends on many factor. So I could be paying him that mcuh and it can only be up for 2 months.

For example if it was a keyword that gets searched a lot I wound not mind paying that much. For example keyword "porn" gets searched 260,083 perday.
so you will get probably 260083 perday.
but mine I would only get 250 perday.

I rememember studying your site a bit back then. I would NOT start buying links blindly or doing anything else. I think you did get a penalty of some sort although I haven't checked.

You need to find out what happened before starting any SEO campaign.

If you want a good ranking for a very competitive term it is a long term, ongoing process. You can rank well, then a few weeks or days later be gone from the top. There are a lot of people trying to get those rankings. If you target more specific keywords you will have a better chance of ranking well, but still it is an ongoing deal. Someone can help you get there, but if you don't continue to update your site and keep your links active and your site relative you will lose those too. If I were you when you find someone either be prepared to be in a long term relationship with them or pay them to teach you how to keep your rankings once you have them.

A penalty is determined because of a series of symptoms. You can do a few tests that help confirm your suspicions but generally if you notice a sudden LARGE drop in ranking and traffic one of two things happened:

1) You got hit with a penalty.

2) X number of your inbound links were devalued.

If you just drop a few spots or a few pages it usually means other people worked harder than you and you need to double up your efforts.

I'm not selling you anything so I'm trying to give fair advice. Make sure the SEO person you hire knows the history of your site, when it dropped, and has access to your stats for the last several months and you tell them EVERYTHING you've done to build traffic. If they don't know, or don't care, you can do more harm to your site.

Countless people notice a sudden loss in rank and start doing all sorts of SEO, usually just redoing what got them in trouble in the first the place.
