Welcome back. I wish you a speedy recovery. A friend of mine was driving with her 2 year old son in their xterra when a transfer truck trailer drifted into her lane and the back wheels ran over her hood and flipped her car 20 times over down an embankment. They both survived but she was in very critical condition for a long time. They had to replace every bone in her foot with pins and metal rods so she'll never walk the same again. Leg and foot injuries are no joke. Glad to hear you came out of this okay.

I'm so glad you hear you are finally back home. Hospitals and recovery homes, etc serve a purpose, but home and family are always the best medicine.

What a wonderful birthday present for your husband on top of it all. Icing on the cake.

Very true Persian Kitty, I think she will be fine at home.

But a different life for a few months. This morning was the first day and it's a joy and privilege to have her home.

Thank you everybody for all your kind wishes and thoughts. The next three months will be hard on us but we will do it.
